With Nvidia graphic cards the first time u boot fortnite ur 1% lows are in the single digits. Thats why it lags alot. U need to reboot for full performance
fortnite has a issue with performance mode at the moment, there’s loads of fps drops i have a 4080 32gb ram and i get drops. i use dx12 and it runs fine
my pc is 600 bucks and i got a ryzen 5 8600g 16 gigs stick ddr 5 water cooling good case mid 512 gigs ssd and i don't know what my motherboard is and i want to find what it is so bad but idk how
Try buying from small buisness sellers. Like Mercari or Jawa. I have sold PCs similar for @ $500. I sell a lot of pcs for @ $300 +/- Right now my highest price pc is under $1k and it has a 4060ti & 32gb ram.

and im getting stable never drop 144fps, looking at the sky i get 300-320
