Salaamun Alaykum, This segment made me reflect deeply. I never thought about Allah alone because, since childhood, I have learned that we can come close to Allah only through the Quran. But when Dr. Hany described the difference between Allahh and the Quran alone, it now makes clear that we can come close to Allahh only when we genuinely believe in Allahh alone. Because this is new, we are learning about the Mawj in the Quran and the different structures of the Ayat in the Quran. Subhan’Allahh, there is so much to learn, unlearn, and relearn.

It's often used in the context of military or political maneuvering.

The difference between Allah alone and Qur’an alone is the difference between Nuh and his “drowned” son. And this interpretation clarifies Ibrahim’s story regarding كوكب، الشمس، القمر in Surah Al An3am.
This is heavy. May be shocking for most of us. Definitely a point of correction for me. If we really think about it, we've been getting hints about this from early on in the MQ journey - Very early on we learned - 'The ayat are not in the text, but above the text (in the mind)', and many, many other concepts that have been discussed. We have also seen many examples of Mawj and Makr in the past. Now, we have a clearer context in which to understand many things. Alhamdulillah. Only Allahh is perfect! Allahh alone. Not Qur'an Alone. May Allahh grant us reconnection, and continue to allow us to self correct.
Continuous escalation in understanding in true fashion to nature, thanks to counter measures to counter-counter measures. Thus, permitted to observe from higher above & beyond, where appreciation of fresh air of understanding accelerates approaching tropopause initially in the shear of jet-stream, shaking, jolting, turns in to certainty of knowledge as a result of submission with toiling; where appreciation never feels short in the light of majestic signature all over. What a privilege! Firmest grip leaves us in awe as it leads us spiralling upwards.

If we say Quran Alone is to differentiate ourselves from narrations of the prophet ( Hadiths of Prophet). My understanding is that you are referring to the SUNNIS who are worshipping the messenger ( Mohammed) saying AtiuAllah Wa Atiu-Rasuul. Therefore, Quran alone followers follow Quran by toiling daily hoping to receive guidance from Allah. Thanks for the great work

I mean, when you read a certain literature you're subjected to a condition or process (meaning : to submit) in which the author had engraved within his/her work, what you'll do is to interpret the string of text.
Alhamdulillaah Dr. Hany, this session brought a lot of clearance concerning the concept ot makr and mauj within the quraan, and most importantly the clear evidence that it's not about Quraan only but ALLAAH only.

Stratagematic refers to anything related to or involving strategy, especially in terms of employing cunning or clever tactics to achieve a goal. It's often used in the context of military or political maneuvering.
This segment was very easy and clear to understand. Alhamdulilah! I’m excited to explore this concept further. Inshallah we can enjoy more YT segments and zoom sessions where we disclose more wellsprings of information together.

The difference between Allah alone and Qur’an alone is the difference between Nuh and his “drowned” son. And this interpretation clarifies Ibrahim’s story regarding كوكب، الشمس، القمر in Surah Al An3am.

This is heavy. May be shocking for most of us. Definitely a point of correction for me. If we really think about it, we've been getting hints about this from early on in the MQ journey - Very early on we learned - 'The ayat are not in the text, but above the text (in the mind)', and many, many other concepts that have been discussed. We have also seen many examples of Mawj and Makr in the past. Now, we have a clearer context in which to understand many things.

Continuous escalation in understanding in true fashion to nature, thanks to counter measures to counter-counter measures. Thus, permitted to observe from higher above & beyond, where appreciation of fresh air of understanding accelerates approaching tropopause initially in the shear of jet-stream, shaking, jolting, turns in to certainty of knowledge as a result of submission with toiling; where appreciation never feels short in the light of majestic signature all over. What a privilege! Firmest grip leaves us in awe as it leads us spiralling upwards.

However, following Quran alone does not mean worshiping Quran it means we reject following the so called narrations of the prophet that SuNNIS are following. If we say Quran Alone is to differentiate ourselves from narrations of the prophet ( Hadiths of Prophet). My understanding is that you are referring to the SUNNIS who are worshipping the messenger ( Mohammed) saying AtiuAllah Wa Atiu-Rasuul. Therefore, Quran alone followers follow Quran by toiling daily hoping to receive guidance from Allah. Thanks for the great work

You want to differentiate yourself! Therefore, you are building an identity in reference to what others are doing! That's part of the problem!
Furthermore, you are claiming that the Quran contains all that we need of knowledge!
In both cases, you are attaching yourself, and submitting, to a created object!
Attach yourself, instead, to Allahh alone! The label means a lot more than Quran-alone, and is unassailable! Furthermore, it is unifying, NOT dividing! It invites agreement instead of divisions!

you have an assumption about the user, the person does not claim that at all, the position of Quran alone is that their epistemological ambit is through the Quran alone. just like you said that the Quran is a software and a programming tool where the reader is Operating , Iterating , Interpreting and Iterating thus receives understanding therefore apply then repeat.
that is toiling, the person you accuse does not say that the established understanding is قَطعيّ and therefore submit to it blindly, no...
the person talks about reading the primary source target. nothing about regarding the book as divine / holy.
I mean, when you read a certain literature you're subjected to a condition or process (meaning : to submit) in which the author had engraved within his/her work, what you'll do is to interpret the string of text.

I am guilty for the past 3 years of (kind of) idolizing the Quran, even tho without intending to do that, I forgot that we are Allah Alone and not Quran Alone... So thank you for this reminder.
Only Allahh alone! I do not have Arabic background. Sometimes I feel so frustrated. Dr. Hany kept warning us not to watch this segment if we were weak or beginner. After watching many segments, I still think I am at the beginner level. I think, I need to be mastered or have at least good understanding on each segment before proceeding to the next.
