Thanks for the note. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it and the music. Just talked with Rick last night and he has some new material on the web.

Great presentation of this SP and facilities. Ava looks good in her hat. Better be careful she will attract the single men around the camp. Thanks again Mr. Douglass.

Brent Griffin Hey Brent, how is it going. You are right. Eva is a real jewel. I'd be lost without her. Thanks for your support.

@@moderntentcamping one part that was very helpful was about the electric connections in the Hurcules Loop. I wasn't sure if it could do regular 110/220 plugs or just RV connections. I am a cancer survivor and need to bring my medical equipment that runs at night to help with lymphatic message to reduce swelling. All damage from radiation treatment. If one night I wouldn't worry about it but we will be three nights. We live fulltime in a 40ft deisel pusher but we don't want to deal with moving it and honestly to us that doesn't feel like camping.

@@rachelharris725 Rachel, I’m sorry to hear about your cancer but happy to hear that you are getting treatment (I know it’s not easy) and that you are going camping. Hope you have a great trip. You are now on our prayer list.

@@moderntentcamping Actually I am three years out from finishing treatment and going into remission. I was stage 4 so everything now is treatment side effects which have left me disabled for life. It was all God. I shouldn't be alive right now. But, I am, so I want to get out and live a little and enjoy the Lords handiwork while we still can. Thank you for the prayers! We will be there during the week first week of May .

Great video! We had a great time visiting with y'all and hope to do it again.
I would like expand a little more info on the Texas State Park's pass and say they are well worth it if one plans to camp 3 or more weekends in a year. They include free park admittance to everyone in the vehicle with the pass holder, it includes I believe 3 free nights of camping, and discounts at park stores and a few other benefits.

I live outside Dallas. Retired with very young Grand-kids. I have to get away from the suburbs to recharge and enjoy Mother Nature, so I go camping. If you're ever down this way again go to Dinosaur Valley State Park and bring the kids. They can walk along the creek and see actual Dinosaur tracks in the rock. It's a great place to bring children or grand-children. There is also a little museum in the park. I can't wait until I can take the grand-kids camping. I really enjoy your videos and am slowly catching up on the older ones. Thank you and Eva again, I know putting out videos is probably a lot of work.

Scott Hill Scott, I have heard that Dinosaur Valley is a great place to visit but I haven't been there yet. Have you seen the list of Texas camping destinations I'd like to visit on my website? It does not include Dinosaur Valley since I prefer larger campgrounds that typically have better security and more recreational opportunities. But I did include Lake Whitney SP that is just a few miles away from Dinosaur Valley. If you have time, check out the list at www.basictentcamping.com I'd like to hear your opinions.

I'll check out your list and help you anyway I can. I've stayed at a few State Parks here in Texas and will comment on the ones I've stayed in.

Which site were you camping at?

I think it was #39 in Piney Shores. Most folks prefer the lakefront sites. Thanks for watching.
