Simpson ALH3228 pressure washer first startup

This is my experience with the Simpson ALH3228.
The first unit I received came with extensive shipping damage to the gas tank. I didn't even bother taking it out of the box.
The second unit (as seen towards the end of the video) had its set of problems. The unit, once again, shipped without any padding inside the box. I believe all the problems I experienced with that unit are all related to shipping damage.
This third unit is working like a charm. This was its first startup and a quick cleaning test of the unit. It started right up on the third pull!
Needless to say, the experience of buying this has been quite frustrating. Everything would have been better if only Simpson packaged their products properly. Had it not been for the very good reputation of the Japanese engine and pump, plus the discounts Home Depot gave me with each return to compensate for the inconvenience, I probably would have returned this unit and bought a different brand.
