i am not the softest guy. yet this song makes me cry so much. its the most beautiful song i have ever heard. i was listening to this song once while i held my girlfriends hand while driving (now x gf) and i was trying to hold the tears back, when i looked at my girl her tears were falling to, i miss her so much such a powerful song. a song that conected me to that girl forever. miss u my baby.
I love how the song progresses from piano to forte very slowly, yet very surely. It does lift the spirit and runs along the story line. Stevie's voice enlightens the meaning and emotions. I love it!

I don't recall ever hearing Beautiful Child on the radio back in the day. This is one of several Stevie written songs that never made the radio but has stood the test of time as all-time greats. Some of my other faves include Silver Springs and Crystal (sung by Lindsey).
