Hi Pop, you're one of the greatest inspirations for magic I've had. Massive fan and supporter, purchased everything with your name on it at penguin lol.. Just wondering if and when you would be putting out an explanation of your routine. Second question... The tape ending is brilliant, ive seen earlier performances of yours where you dont include the tape so is it something you added recently as a final misdirect? or will you answer on your next training download? cant wait. big fan
The tape ending was created by my mentor Billy McComb. He taught it to me years ago, and I used to do it with a double Anderson Tear created by Johnny Brown of Texas. I was opening for Johnny Thompson at Caesars Tahoe, and he did a center tear in his act, and didn't want me to close with a newspaper tear. I told him Billy's bit, and he put it in and got a great response. He seemed to be making fun of my performance. He kept it in always after that. I didn't do the tape bit while Johnny was alive. I started doing it again with the single tear for my four minute shows at Boobietrap in Hollywood.
@@PopHaydn Ah, thanks for the response... Wow that is certainly good background. im busy learning your mongolian pop knot routine at the moment. so so brilliant! thank you pop for being a real inspiration.
LOVE the added twist of the tape at the end! Great illusion!
