the ctrl key is the last bottom left key of the keyboard, so its easiest to press it down with the left side of your palm while keeping your fingers on qwer and boom no more leveling by hand. Changed my gameplay immensely.
I use shift+qwer for leveling and alt+qwer for indicator cast. Feels better with my hands. People should definitely try out different key schemes and find what worka well for them!

Just changed this today, started using a+attack made it left click for me though due to it just being easier and my kiting has become WAY better and I'm not scared to kite anymore. THANK YOU NEACE!
I’ve been loving these champion strengths and weaknesses at the start of the games. Really enables less knowledgeable players like myself to know various champions strengths and weaknesses and play to them
It's really nice hearing Neace explain having RTS experience with respect to this game. I came into it with SC2 experience and I was so used to kiting with marines and marauders that Ashe was actually a really good fit for me at the start. Nice to see some advice in that respect
I started using Attack Move on everything in season 3 when I watched Rainman Teemo videos and saw he was doing it. Blows my friends' minds when they see I'm doing it on every minion. My response "this is why you're hard stuck gold. little efficiencies matter."
Second time seing a neave vid about a clicking, feels good knowing I've learned from last time. Imo using the bind that requires you to just press a instead of a and left click is easier. Great Video!
I come from playing several years only RTS games (WarCraft, Red Alert, Stronghold, Age of, Generals) and I can confirm that it was weird for me too that people weren't using it. I still can't climb out of silver.
How funny is it that Riot with that much cash won't make like an optional advanced tutorial, maybe also for roles, to promote jungling and supporting properly and what not. Like, how hard would it be to get a team, outline goals to cover and how to show/train them in-game, then implement it. One small team and a month of time.
I haven't been as active but once I came back and started practicing this on bots with draven (I don't use draven but he helps with better movement) in the custom tool for a few hours on different days on 300 ping. I'm at the point where I'm on a winstreak and it's effortless guys just trying to master one of these concept's helps you Improve and spot inefficiencies well worth the time.
i prefer attack move click. attack move is kinda clunky cause i have to left click manually. i just learn the auto attack range by playing the champ, same way i learn the range of the abilities
I wish there was a smartcast for that. The closest we got for that is attack move on left mouse, but then I can't click on the map to drag it. Riot is the best.
@@morosov4595 You can actually, there is an option where you can turn off map movement which means if you click on the map with right or left click your champion will not move towards were you click.I had the same problem until i found this option. Now there are downsides too,you cannot click a champion to see its stats without moving towards him and you can no longer do a quick click on the map to make your champion go to lane, you have to actually move your vision in the map and click on the actual place you want your champion to move towards. Its takes a little time to get used to but let me tell you I've used left click attack move for a while now and my kitting has massively improved.
For people struggling with levelling using Control, I just rebinded to H.J,M,V in order, X is my attack move, N is my shop, G pings like default i think, T trinket, hmm my base is actually Y and I dont remember why i moved it from B
@NEACE I'm super excited for bootcamp 3! This time can you do a coaching video on how to use your app,, it's features, etc.? I was in the last one and it took me a really long time to figure out how to actually participate.
Hello Neace, hes not totaly wrong. I think his argument comes from Doublelift. Probaly around season 2/3 when he was still playing for CLG. Since he allways used attack move they just dropped a ward in front of him in a team fight. Obviously back then there wasnt "Attack move on cursor" yet.
I have to ask. Why you don't tell your students that they also could shift+right click for the attack move? I myself have big problems doing right click to move and then press a and do left click. I could learn that no question about it. But it would maybe help other students more. The downside to shift+right click is that you don't see your aa range.
Maybe there's a reason I'm really bad at adc... until now the only thing I used attack move for was walking into unwarded bushes. Do that, by the way. Every bush you walk into, a-click on it. If there's someone in there you'll auto them before you even register that they're there.
To the guy in chat, that thinks there is no advantage in attack move: Attack move is instant, your reaction time is 0.2s. If someone walks just outside of your aa range (it's called spacing, it's done all the time in high elo), then you are not gonna be able to react manually to him going into your range. Vayne mains are known for a leftclicking everywhere, just in case someone shows up. If you are still not convinced here is the obvious scenario: Shaco is on you. He uses q to go invisible. You don't know where he will pop up. If you don't use a left click you are instantly 0.2s slower. If you do, then it doesn't matter where he appears, just click the ground with "a" 20 times in next 5s and you will attack him as soon as you see him, not 0.2s after you see him. This scenario is really often. People walk in and out of vision/range all the time. Not to mention that if you a left click to the bush that has pink ward in it, you are gonna take it down faster. This applies to regular wards to, if someone places them close to you, and you left close.
Ok this may sound weird but I put my A-click on the space bar, it is a lot more comfortable in my opinion. Some people are able to get used to A-click but I legit cannot for the life of me get used to pressing A while I'm pressing spells, so if anyone has a hard time with A-click, try doing it on space bar and then hotkeying your camera center to something else (unless you are like me and don't use it hardly at all)
Hey Neace, I've been absolutely loving the content and as a new player it's been really helping me out! I just want to say that you've been seeming a bit off recently and I just want to make sure everything's going okay! Nothing but love man, we're here for ya ❤️
That was so awsome. If we can get a recap of how he is playing in a week or 2 after this. I bet he is gonna be way greater. It just blew my mind this little trick you showed him.
I use the other option where u dont need to left click after pressing (what's it called? Auto attack move) and put it on 'C' so it's easier for me to reach with my thumb. I put this option on 'X' but rarely use it. The only fault with the auto attack move is that it doesn't show the range so that kinda sucks.
It's called Attack Move Click I believe. And yes, in situations where you don't need to see your AA range, you could argue it's superior because you need fewer inputs.
Biggest advice id give a new player is. Dont care if you win or lose. Just limit test have fun and try things. then after playing about 100 games and you feel like you have limitested enough you go into hardtrying and focusing to the max and taking educated risks.
Neace I seen you a-left click comment on several videos. I THINK I get it, but a step by step slow run through would help "Right click behind champ, move cursor in front of champ, press A, left click, move cursor...." etc. I think thats the right order but doing that once or twice I think would help
About the comment that the guy made at 22:47 there's another configuration, that I personally use, that is Attack Move on Cursor Click, or something like that. It is almost the same as a + left click, but it does the left click automatically. The good thing is that you won't have to be alternating clicks on mouse, but the down side is that it doesn't show your range. If you're used to playing the champion it is not really a down side, so there's this alternative if someone prefers it.
Cool, useful. Also, looks like the client could use a much lower dpi. He's still doing those wide movements across half the screen while practising the a move clicks.
Neace, you ever teach or recommend binding attack move to a mouse button? I have it as my third mouse button and I find it even easier than A to attack
Nice patience with the "pros don't use attack move" guy. I think he holds a very high regards to pros that he thinks pros won't use the tools the game provide to make it easier for themselves. I would just have referenced him to a Rekkles PoV stream that the EULCS (LEC) experimented with. in lane he doesn't;t use it but during fights the amount of times you see the attack range pop up or red arrows will tell them a thousand words.
Damn I’m early as this time. Can you do a Nocturne video please. Love the champ and would love to see someone getting pointers at lower Elo from you or some gameplay at high elo.
Doublelift mouse clicks 99% of the time so there are pros that rarely use it. If you're fast, you can mouse click kite just as well but most people don't have those mechanics.
Ive been working on this for about a month after not having played the game in over a year and I feel like a completely different player. Only difference is I have atk move button set to my MB5 (where my thumb rest on the mouse)
NEACE I use shift click for attack move and I use A for my item 3 so I can combo old tiamat, strikebreaker, goredrinker or whatever. What do you think of that?
@@010Flappie also another quick tip is to assign Alt to some things. If you’re like me and your hands are some weird size, Alt-keying is good for leveling up real quick, just takes my thumb off the spacebar for a second. I also use Alt-right click for the Attack Move Click. But my hands are weird so it’s definitely a case-by-case
@@HnvyCat Somewhere in the middle. Not so big to where my palm hangs over the keyboard, not so small that my palm rests on Shift, but a comfortable hand position oftentimes prohibits me from hitting ctrl with my palm. Likely due to that fact that all my life I’ve used Laptops up until I started playing League, so my hand positioning is more suited for that. Also my fingers are a wee bit shorter compared to other people, so that likely plays a factor in how well I can hit ctrl with my palm. Alt is perfect for me hands
I play a lot of shooting games in the past before starting league so my fingers are always on AWE (yepp i play with three fingers on keyboard) and A left clicking became a habbit early on me thankfully so i don't have the problem he has and any other low elo player have (my only problem is having a pc, so i can practice more instead of renting pc 3 times a week for 5 hrs when i try climbing)
The life changing moment for me was realizing i could make attack move do closest to my cursor and not champion. When i teamfight i'm constantly changing targets as an adc. I use attack move click instead of A click for 1 less input and have it bound to a thumb button I wish i could have it as left click but that fucks up shop and pinging right?
i did this naturally and found random vids online early on, and now when im waiting for my junglers farm to spawn to leash i walk back and forward like i have adhd
Neace how about you bound your left click and attack move on you A button? I use that instead, it is instant and you dont need to left click and right click all the time.
Okay so I know this video is a bit old. I understand the use of A and attack move, but what does left click do? Everytime he says a+left click I never understood lmao. You move with right click right?
Been in the server since early august and I wish I could participate more and get your help! I feel that if we ever made a video we would make some banger content.
I'm curious y you do the A + left click, it seems like hitting shift + right click is more efficient your already on right click to move just hit shift and then that same right click is attack move.
It’s funny how I got mad cuz I clicked the level up button instead of control + Q,W,E,R. And died because of it and from then on I did control level up when my account was like level 4 in 2015. Things just happen for the weirdest reasons haha 😂
Is there a teaching reason you are not teaching to bind left click to auto attack? With attack move on cursor. It get rids of having to “a” click. But spells must be on quick cast no indicator. Cause left click no longer functions
He clicks so far away because of he is used to manualy target minions, when he get used to a clicking is way easier and efficient. I noticed he is getting more autos than enemy sivir in trades right off the start so hes going to get even more dmg in as he learn this well. She is doing less atacks she doesnt know this and is playing like he used to play - manually targeting minions.
This dude in the chat gives me solid Bronze vibes. Like arguing on something they know nothing about to the point where they actually believe themselves. Like being in low tiers is perfectly okay, but don't act like Gordon Ramsay if you flip burgers at McD's lmao.
Hey Neace just wanted to ask, isn't attack move click better than attack move? Because you just have to press the bind for the attack move click and not the bind + left click for attack move.
@@mateuspereira6070 Can't you press c (stats) to see you range also? Because I personally feel like (for me at least) you shouldn't have to check it too regularly.
@@sh0ckzrl341 there is really no downside to having the zone visible on screen while using attack move. Arguably, it is better for those learning, because you will get a visual prompt as well as learn the feel of a champions max AA range. It is even more valuable if you play different ADCs, in particular those champs that have differing AA range such as Jinx (Q mechanic) and Trist with scaling AA range.
How can I get free coaching? I have not been able to enjoy the boot camp almost at all duo to time and not having any of it. I would definitely feel better if I was able to get coaching on top of the videos I’ve been watching.
ok so dodging is not allowed, is ok to add something than makes me able to block a player to be on my team for ever? duos makes no sense. they just make another feature the vote useless.

I also use Alt-right click for the Attack Move Click. But my hands are weird so it’s definitely a case-by-case
@@bosscus big or small hands?
@@bosscus i use alt for self cast (Kayle R, nami w or e,...) I think it's like that by default
Fr I had no idea about that left click on cursor thing… seems useful
The life changing moment for me was realizing i could make attack move do closest to my cursor and not champion. When i teamfight i'm constantly changing targets as an adc. I use attack move click instead of A click for 1 less input and have it bound to a thumb button
I wish i could have it as left click but that fucks up shop and pinging right?
i did this naturally and found random vids online early on, and now when im waiting for my junglers farm to spawn to leash i walk back and forward like i have adhd
Nice job bro! Keep it awesome!!
If you master the five D’S no amount of games can hurt you dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge
Yo Please give us the playlist you use during these coaching sessions!!
is shift clicking the same as A click? I always just shift click to auto attack.
NEACE: "I have a free Discord server"
Me: "You son of a bitch, I'm in."
Im excited for bootcamp three !!!:D
what bootcamp for ? is it for improving in game micro and stuff ?
music was really nice thx for another good vid neace
I have 'A' bound to attack move click. Is there an advantage to A + left click or does it matter??
I just use the aclick just on a. So i dont see the range it just happens. I played like that during sc2 days so it just happens like that for me lol
Should I keep auto attack on in this case?
i'm excited for bootcamp 3!
I am thinking about joining in bootcamp 3! keep it up neace.
Im excited to see the content ❤
Will this setting prio the champ instead of the minion if their closest to my mouse?
I think this is not coincidence that i got McDonald ad while i clicked on Neace video 😂
WOOOHOOOOOOO MORE BOOOOTCAAAAAMMMPP!!
This got me to open the damn practice tool for the first time for 45 minutes to get this down....
This dude in the chat gives me solid Bronze vibes. Like arguing on something they know nothing about to the point where they actually believe themselves.
Like being in low tiers is perfectly okay, but don't act like Gordon Ramsay if you flip burgers at McD's lmao.
neace how to show the indicator with attack move I need help
Hey Neace just wanted to ask, isn't attack move click better than attack move? Because you just have to press the bind for the attack move click and not the bind + left click for attack move.
No cause the purpose of attack move is for u to see the max range auto attack and play at that distance
@@sh0ckzrl341 i have attackmove on x and attackmove click on a so i can switch in between if i need, probably the best solution
Attack move click is better. It’s faster. It’s the same as smart cast vs dumb cast. Go watch video sneaky made about it
I'd like to see some content geared toward tanks!
A person who Watched Neace daily for a month VS A person who played league for a month
Who will win?
How would I ask for a vod review if I play in the Garena Philippines server :((
I joined the discord server, it’s amazing thanks! :)
Hey I tried using the link I the description can u show me how to do it? If your could that'd be awsome man.
Thanks for what you do!!!!!!!!
you are to league what bencb is to poker
amazing coach
How can I get free coaching? I have not been able to enjoy the boot camp almost at all duo to time and not having any of it. I would definitely feel better if I was able to get coaching on top of the videos I’ve been watching.
So how does making the coaching "free" fix your problem of not having enough time to do it?
In Wild Rift, is there a more efficent way of playing as well!?
Yeah, boot up a PC instead
@@Thyloon7 don’t have one. Also don’t have the luxury to invest 30+ minutes into a match anymore. Sometiems only have free 25’min tops
3:20 ahahahahaahahha no waaaayyy ... yea yea yea .. xD ahahahahah
Should I be attack moving as a melee bruiser top?
If u have bigger range than the enemy, then it'll help u get more autos than the enemy
Attack move is good on everyone
ok so dodging is not allowed, is ok to add something than makes me able to block a player to be on my team for ever?
duos makes no sense. they just make another feature the vote useless.
Why A-left click over shift-right click for newbies?
I think it’s because it’s further away? Neace’s whole thing is about efficiency so my guess is that A is closer than Shift from Q
At that point I think it's just to make them try it and choose afterwards what they want to use.
its insane ive been so stubborn to not see any guide on how to play league that it took me like 5 years to find out about this hack attack move thing that makes u turn into faker instantly XD
btw default league settings are trash (example smol af minimap)
