Fun fact: Jennifer Tilly was 39 when she shot this movie and she was born the same year as Chucky’s canonical birth year. Jennifer Tilly is still portraying Tiffany at 65 years old
This movie is one of the reasons I love rock music (the other reason being the game Guitar Hero, I played those games religiously as a kid😂) the soundtrack is so good and it’s the reason I’m obsessed with Rob Zombie- Living Dead Girl.
@@packedentertainment2866 he's made out of a lot of material through the series. In CP1 Andy's mom said he had stuffing inside him. CP 2 he had medal under his skin like a mini terminator... In future sequels he was made out of other things I'm not gonna spoil it though
I use to be so scared of the movie poster of this as a kid. Fun stuff to know: • According to Jennifer Tilly, the doll s3x scene was all improvised. • The date on Tiffany's newspaper clippings at the beginning of the movie and the date of death on Charles Lee Ray's tombstone is 9th November 1988, the release date of the first Child's Play movie. • Julia Stiles got the part of Jade, but later dropped out to play a role in 10 Things I Hate About You. • When Tiffanys pet tarantula "Charlotte" lands on Damiens face, a CG spider was used. • Bride of Chucky is the most expensive Chucky/Child's Play Movie to this Date with a Budget of 25 Million Dollars. • This is the first time that someone other than Chucky recites the Dambella chant Tiffany uses it in an attempt to bring back Chucky.
FUN FACT: Alexis transitioned well before this movie. She actually has an archived TH-cam channel where you can go back and watch all her home movies with the family from the 90s which include the whole family doing very normal things like renovating their home, casually hanging out and drinking n stuff. Alexis is one of the few actors whom did roles as a male because she knew nobody would hire her if she was always dressing as a woman - however, still advocated for trans rights well before every other actor in Hollywood, all the way uptil her passing from HIV.
@@weskerspetcharizard Alexis Arquette (sibling ro David, Roseanna, and Patricia). She played Tiffany's lover the goth-guy who pretended to be a killer.
This is where it gets crazy, and to think, this is only a very small tip of the iceberg from where this story goes. Bride of Chucky came out in 1998. I was three. So this was the Chucky movie for me as a kid. Gave me nightmares all the time. His face! I remember seeing the vhs in the movie gallery store from on of the original three child’s play movies and his non-stitched look was weird for me because I didn’t know that was his look. I thought it was stitched or nothing. Now as an adult Chucky is my favorite horror icon and I love all the movies (sans remake. (11:06) It’s 1998 and it seems to take place a few months after the events of Child’s Play 3. But what I also like is that since both Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly were practically bouncing off each other with their dialogue, it feels so natural whether as human or in doll form. (11:43) John Ritter was known for his witty humor thanks to his sitcom Three’s Company, but he sure knew how to one-up his confrontations with sick burns. (13:58) That outfit Tilly is wearing is her own outfit, not a costume. (34:20) Kathy Najimy playing the motel maid in a minor role is due to the fact she’s good friends with Jennifer Tilly in real life. Looks like this sister act was unable to Hocus Pocus this crime scene away! 🤣

I remember this being so much fun to experience in a packed theater. Thank you for watching these movies and giving them some much needed ❤️. Looking forward to A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.
23:13 so fun fact, apparently when you become a doll you keep your human strength. Thats how the dolls in universe could lift heavy things and throw with such force.
I used to live in Chicago, and when I found out the original Child's Play took place in place I made it a mission to find where the opening scene was. I'm proud to say I found exactly where the chase happened and where Chucky was originally shot by the cop. That was the highlight of my time living in Chicago as a film fan.
Great reaction, yall. Seeing the final shot of the movie made me remember how terrified I was as a child witnessing that scene. The screaming, a burnt to the crisp doll, and bloody shark toothed baby. What a rush lmao
I really enjoyed the expression of appreciation for horror and the horror community. It's my favorite community to be a part of, because of the things you two talked about. Yes, there will be some bad apples, but horror really is full of people who just love to connect with others who love what they love and get excited to show those things to new people. Happy that ya'll have felt so welcomed! Thanks for being great and joining the horror team!
yes! was waiting for this one and I swear before I opened youtube i told myself please be bride of chucky and there it was roxy and tara reacting to bride of chucky lol can't wait to jump right into it with you ladies!
Love that you guys feel welcomed by the horror community. I think most of us love to see newcomers to the genre enjoy the thing we've loved for so long. Can't wait to see what else you guys end up watching.
This is the most iconic chucky known in history! It’s the gayest icon herself Tiffany/Jennifer! You will never understand the hood that women had on everyone in this movie. As a fellow vagitarian it was a lot!
THIS is THE Chucky movie. The first was unique as they explored the concept, while 2 was more of less. This one they took it to a new level by adding the comedy that was a staple of these types of films, like Nightmare on Elm Street. I can just see Jennifer and Brad in the booth while reading their lines - hilarious.
The Julia Styles basketball movie you're thinking of is "O" (2001) .. a modern 2000s take on Shakeseare's "Othelo" ..... w/ Mekhi Phifer & Josh Hartnet. 🥰
Absolutely LOVED this reaction! I've never seen all of the Chucky movies from beginning to end. Had low expectations for the franchise, but tbh actually really enjoying these reactions 😂
You guys HAVE to continue watching the sequels and then ultimately the TV show!!!!!!! It’s a culmination of everything that makes chucky great. Campy horror at its finest! *chefs kiss*
You got my boy Jin poppin in to say hello too! Damn that made me smile. Whoever edited this over at praper just made my night. Bride of Chucky has always been the best for me. It's the only one I rewatch. Jennifer Tilly, man. Shes great.
“My mother always said love was supposed to set you free.. but that’s not true Chucky. You see I’ve been a prisoner of my love for you for a very long time. Now it’s payback time” I love this dialogue !
I've been meaning to watch this movie for YEARS and finally did today just to watch your reaction and it was sooo much better than i thought it would be. Chucky and Tiff are iconic together even is they are a messed up and the ending is WILD. I think I LOVE this movie lol. Keep up the great work the best duo on TH-cam.
The fun never ends. The next movie is a horror comedy. All the movies have comedy and campyness but the next one is a total spoof, but still following the story like it always does. Its a really fun change of pace and Bride kinda warms you up to it. Seed of Chucky is so funny and endearing.
YES I agree!!!! Chucky and Tiffany giggling together in the van is one of my favorite scenes in horror!!!! Edit: Also I'm so glad you guys have been enjoying the horror movies! It's a genre that I think everyone just likes to share because of how creative it lets some people be lol
When I saw this in the movie theater with a friend, when they play the opening credits, we both looked at each other and said at the exact same, "John Ritter?! Now way!" Lol
AWWW I LOVE THAT YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING THIS HORROR WATCHATHON!!! Anyone who is gatekeepy about horror needs to relax. Horror is not that serious…I mean it definitely can be but mostly it’s just fun. Anyways I don’t know if you have seen Scream but YOU GUYS HAVE TO DO THOSE! That is by far my favorite franchise by a mile!! It isn’t very scary much like Chucky it is just soooo much fun!! Scream has a great mystery aspect that puts the audience in this game of guessing who Ghost face is.
This is the only Chucky movie I ever saw in the theater. I think I was really excited about the bride idea. It's so Bride of Frankenstein. I love that.
Glad you guys are enjoying these movies. I've mentioned it in previous comments that this franchise gets insane, and this is definitely where the insanity starts. You loved this movie so I'll bet you'll love the next few as well, it's such a good franchise. Also glad to hear you've been welcomed into the horror community, as with any community there's always some bad apples, but it's good to hear that you've only encountered the positive side of the community and I hope the positivity continues through your journey into horror. My Sister-in-law (my Brother's Wife) is really big into Halloween and horror and such like you guys, and she loves this franchise as well, so much so that I believe she has a Tiffany themed bag and I think she even has a Tiffany doll in her car. Roxy's guess of the title of the next movie is close, it's not Baby of Chucky but rather Seed of Chucky. There are currently 4 more Chucky movies and the show, Seed of Chucky is the next one then Curse of Chucky then Cult of Chucky then the Chucky show continues the story after that. There is also the 2019 reboot movie, but as is suggested by it being a reboot it's not in the same continuity as the other Chucky movies, but the reboot movie is really good too. You did see Texas Chainsaw on the channel Tara, it was with Aaron, you guys watched it between your watching of Saw 3 and Saw 4, at least according to the playlist on the channel.
Since you asked! My rankings: 1, 4, 2, 3 (1, 7, 4, 6, 2, 5, 3) However, in my memory, 1st movie aside, the sequels all stand pretty close, with the exception of 3, which is lesser quality. 4 & 5 are wild. And 6 & 7 are excellent modern returns of the franchise. Pretty great franchise! I love the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises, especially, but Child's play is definitely a solid franchise throughout - unlike those others.

I hope you're having a great weekend!!
I remember this being so much fun to experience in a packed theater. Thank you for watching these movies and giving them some much needed ❤️. Looking forward to A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.
Their reaction to the ending was well worth it, it’s only gonna get whackier from here! Looking forward to it!
So excited to see Roxy and Tara react to this movie! Jennifer Tilly is great in this movie! 👍
🔪 ❤👀🤌
Never clicked on a video fast enough THE BEST CHUCKY FILM
42:01 He said "you broke my neck", first of all, and it wasn't because he feel it, he was making a joke about what he saw.
When Tara was talking about the waterbed and said "I would just say c*m* inside.." I was like woooaahhh ma'am. Too much waterbed love for TH-cam 😂😂😂😂
Next on the list is:
1) Seed of Chucky (2004)
2) Curse of Chucky (2013)
3) Cult of Chucky (2017)
4) Chucky (show) (2021-???)
Craziest Ending: Sleepaway Camp
Not a fan of the remaining films but the TV Series rocks, hope y'all react to it!
Best one in the series for sure. Ronny Yu, balances the comedy and the horror perfectly… he also did Freddy Vs. Jason which SLAAAPS TOO!
Yessss!!! We are back with more Chucky. Love you both. Puuurge and Ring that Bell!!!!
Ring it babyyyy!!!! Purge purge 🔪🔪❤️
The Julia Styles basketball movie you're thinking of is "O" (2001) .. a modern 2000s take on Shakeseare's "Othelo" ..... w/ Mekhi Phifer & Josh Hartnet. 🥰
I love that John Ritter is in this movie and it has Three's Company type misunderstandings.
R.I.P. John Ritter.
Now it’s payback time”
I love this dialogue !
Tiffany really deserves her own movie….my favorite horror icon hands down❤️
I've been meaning to watch this movie for YEARS and finally did today just to watch your reaction and it was sooo much better than i thought it would be. Chucky and Tiff are iconic together even is they are a messed up and the ending is WILD. I think I LOVE this movie lol. Keep up the great work the best duo on TH-cam.
Next up is seed of chucky where the roller coaster of chucky movies goes down before going back up
Literally screamed in joy when I saw purge mommies watching bride. Enjoy! It’s soooo fun.
This was one of the best shoutouts hahaha I will never forgive you for getting my name wrong, John! Much love only to Greg on this one 😂
The waterbed kills is one of my favorite kills ever in anything
The fun never ends. The next movie is a horror comedy. All the movies have comedy and campyness but the next one is a total spoof, but still following the story like it always does. Its a really fun change of pace and Bride kinda warms you up to it. Seed of Chucky is so funny and endearing.
Chucky and Tiffany are toxic relationship goals.
If Chucky can find love than so can I!
Roxy's face at the end says it all 😂
When I saw this in the movie theater with a friend, when they play the opening credits, we both looked at each other and said at the exact same, "John Ritter?!
“Barbie, eat your heart out”
This is the only Chucky movie I ever saw in the theater. I think I was really excited about the bride idea. It's so Bride of Frankenstein. I love that.
What a fantastic duo! PURGE!!! 😂😂😂
I loved your reaction to the ending. I almost forgot about that part until it was close to coming, and I remembered.
My rankings: 1, 4, 2, 3 (1, 7, 4, 6, 2, 5, 3)
However, in my memory, 1st movie aside, the sequels all stand pretty close, with the exception of 3, which is lesser quality.
4 & 5 are wild. And 6 & 7 are excellent modern returns of the franchise. Pretty great franchise! I love the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises, especially, but Child's play is definitely a solid franchise throughout - unlike those others.
Chucky saying "Hi!" While sitting on that dying dude was probably the most wholesome Chucky had ever sounded 💀💀
I didn't know John Ritter was dead 🤷♂️ yall should watch "Stay Tuned" that was one of his movies 👍
When he died in 2003, his son Jason Ritter carries on in his legacy.
Roxy & Tara reactions are truly the best and I am Loving how much fun they are having with Chucky 🤣💝
❤❤❤ thank you for the support !
That rubber line was improvised by Brad and Tiff lol
I was just thinking yesterday how I can’t wait for you girls to watch Bride of Chucky and today the universe answered 😂 this was great lol
❤ the rest of the movies are worth it because they just continue the lore from bride of Chucky forward
