I must say I really enjoy seeing that crazy train out in the fields!! Seems to (I know nothing) be doing a great job though! The spacing on the duals for planting reasons vs the 4650 with sandwiches duals? Those Deeres are SWEET!! Looks like everything went well with the beans!! That pigweed sure is invasive !! Thank you guys for bringing us along, look forward to seeing what's next!! 😁😁😁👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜
Believe or not both of those tractors are on the same spacing. Only difference is the 4650 is running Firestone Radial Deep Treads vs. Firestone 23 degree bias ply tires on the planting tractor.
I used a product this year call Sterling Blue on pigweeds, it's around 45 dollars a gallon/ 1.5 pints per acre I had some pretty big pigweeds in places some problems 12 inches tall and it smoked there ass to the ground, sprayed in the morning that afternoon they were already wilting!!
Sterling blue is good for early burn down but like you say it is a wait time to plant. I spray my bean ground with it the same time I do my corn ground and it stays pretty clean until I get ready to plant
@@lukedesselle2491 I would like to know what brand and variety because this is the first I've heard of a soybean that will tolerate dicamba that isn't XTEND.
01:50 - never gets old.....
Looks great a little tillage never hurts a crop you guys are doing a good job
For a single pass tilliage, that bean planter looked really happy! I gotta get me a crazy train😄
Very good video thank you for sharing and good luck with your crops

@@DylanJoyceFarms Wow, you gonna get another view from me...gotta go back and look closer! That's wild, but THANK you for the info!! 😁😁
Those rolling baskets are the cats ass behind the disk , that's what I want to do to my corn stalks in the fall .
It makes a disc a much better tool.
Oh yeah they work great, this was the first year running them for us also.
The rolling baskets are sweet
We are enjoying them for sure.
Yeah I like the job they do for us also, work great 👍
I knew you’d like the job they’d do, I like the job ours do.
Took us from making two tillage passes to just one
@@DylanJoyceFarms hey that’s awesome
Great Video
Nice video
its doing a great job
My my how times have changed now we can't buy a good rain lol.
From one extreme to another around here. We did have a couple of farms get a half inch last night.

30 day plant back to soybeans on Sterling Blue if you are not planting Xtend soybeans. We are using Enlist.

@DylanJoyceFarms I sprayed Sterling Blue over the top of my Soybeans, there not Xtend only Dicamba safened

@@daviddixon3800 yessir that's right. That's how we used to do it back in the straight RoundUp Ready and Liberty Link days.
We fixed a train up about 3 weeks ago ,I would like to send a picture.of it

I see you have a 496, we have a 496 24 foot and a 33 foot
hi field looks really dry there and where is this you going to plant corn there or hay, also do you put lime and fertlizer on it thanks for the video
You guys could really use 8440 or 8450 make tillage a bit easier save some hours on the other tractors
Good luck this year
Does it make it pull much harder?
Yes, it pulls harder and burns more fuel, but it has cut out a second tillage pass for us.
Much so worth it then
i have a question.why do u run them wide tires on the front of ur tractor
Better flotation, better steering, better ride
@@DylanJoyceFarms oh ok .
You need a 4960
I’m taking donations towards that new tractor.
4960 would be a good tractor but it will cost as much as the 8000 series and when you get older you will appreciate the nicer cab
Dirt work looks good
Thank ya sir
The Disk Was On The 4650 I Believe .
Was That Another 4650 On The Grain Drill
