- Biosart®️ 100 Monitors are expertly designed for microbiological testing across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, and water.
These monitors are ideal for analyzing large sample volumes with low microbial counts, utilizing membrane filtration as a crucial step. They are also suitable for smaller volumes if a few milliliters of sterile physiological NaCl solution are used.
These sterile, ready-to-use disposables come with an integrated membrane filter and cellulose pad. After filtration, the 100 ml funnel can be removed to transform the Monitor into a petri dish. Culture media for pad wetting is available in individually sterilized plastic ampoules. Designed for use with vacuum manifold bases, Biosart®️ 100 Monitors ensure accurate colony identification.
Available in various types, these monitors feature cellulose nitrate (cellulose ester) membranes for effective retention, high flow rates, and optimal colony growth. Printed grid lines facilitate easy counting, especially for high bacteria counts and micro-colonies, without affecting growth.
The filters come in three colors-green, white, and gray (black when wet)-to provide the best contrast for colony visibility. Monitors with regenerated cellulose membranes offer high flow rates and chemical stability, making them ideal for bioburden testing in the veterinary sector, especially for solvent-based products.
