This film has the lowest ratings on rotten tomatoes among all wizarding world films. Many critics hated Rowling's screenplay. Many said the subplots are boring. But, I don't understand... I love this film so much better than the first one. Probably David Yates' best directed film (and to be fair, I think he is the worst director in all HP movies). But of course, Alfonso Cuaron will always still be missed.
Well imo critics often values the more technical/principle aspects of a movie… more like a textbook-y tests kind of judgement… but the Potter fans (like myself) tend to appreciate the emotional aspects of discovering the connection between this series and the Potter series, and that feeling of watching your imagination being visualized, so that we'll love the movie no matter what 😍 at least that's what I felt after I watched this movie…
I wish i was there!!! Well, at least the movie comes out one day before my bday (which im going to also watch on my bday) which is actually a really awesome bday gift to me.
Oh thank goodness i thought i was the only one with so many questions... But I too love the film and it sets up the future of the franchise And i'll forgive the franchise for that... for now and they better clear up some questions in the future films.
@@leolizguela1437 Honestly my main question so far is 'Where on earth is Perenellr Flamel???' A friend and I have a theory that she's a teacher or headmistress at Beauxbatons as she wasn't with her husband in Paris.
No, relax, you're not stupid~ what I understand is that 16th is like the worldwide official screening date, but actually there are some countries that started showing the movie 2 days earlier on the 14th (mine included, though I don't know which other country had early screening date as well)
what hype? Crimes of Grindelwald, in contrast with the other films, has been met with controversy and doubt. I'm very surprised and satisfied with the outcome.
I was there, and it was... FANTASTIC!!!

Never trust Rotten tomatoes.
Rating is lowest because they are Muggles . They are lucky that we wizards are not allowed to do magic in this world

Very smart to skip the audience reaction after the movie ended.

They’re hyping this movie up so much and I’ve already seen it - everything they say is a complete and utter lie

This muggle doesn't know how to watch a wizarding film. It was by far the most fantastic movie of the year.
