- One of the trucks I enjoyed filming the most on this particular trip was this Volvo Curbtender. Definitely showing its age in this video with its slower operation and quirky 'undump' funtion, but entertaining nonetheless. This body & chassis combination looks particularly good in their old paint scheme, which unfortunately they changed to a generic solid blue with the new fleet they bought a couple years back.

Great video Mike! I was excited to see this in my subscription feed. Very interesting truck. That undump feature you mentioned seems like an annoyance. Especially when packing out. I love to look of the old Curbtender tailgates, and this one had just that! Keep up the great work!
Nice Volvo curbs are very interesting to see because there’s not many out there too bad to see this arm has some problems with the hydraulics
Does this truck have a downward hydraulic sag of the arm or is the operator slowly lowering it ?
Looks like leak down to me. Especially since the operator keeps bumping it back up in certain shots. Some very very tired old valves in this machine.
I see this thing is aging now :( that’s cool to see him rev. I love how with Curbtenders you can see the packer. What replaced this truck?

Been a while since I have seen this truck in action. Looks like they traded the curbtender grippers to heil kinds after this video was filmed. Probably one of my favorite Patriot trucks out there. Seems a bit slower on the way up compared to a few years ago lol. The tailgate is probably one of my favorites especially for a truck like this. Glad to see some footage before this truck is done! Nice video.

patriot disposal keepin it real! The Volvo/curbtender combo has always been one of my favorites. Very interesting operating style as well. This area only have trash or how does that work? Most of the stops only have one can out. Really nice job! Wouldn’t mind seeing more of this truck!
Trash master Lucas Patriot Disposal picks everything up in one mixed waste stream and take it all to their MRF for sorting after collection.
