Cool Chris, but I've learned the hard way to never chase down a non-field streak. Three level marty is good (after seeing a non-field run), but never chase fields beyond 4 levels. Instead of laddering up every non-field roll, you might just ladder up your field bets on a seven-out. In fact you could ladder the whole layout together, going up only on a S-Out. That would keep the box number profits coming so you don't work against yourself just trying to recover the stacked up fields. Make the first ladder a full-unit doubling and go for 2 or 3 wins - box or field, before laddering back down; On the first S-out, 15 on field becomes 30, then 45, 60, 75. This gives you the early-weighted payout curve that matches up well with near-even-money bets. 🤑🤑🤑🤙

Chasing the field is BRUTAL! I have seen some serious non-field streaks on tables.

Great Demo, Chris. It might work better if no field bet on a come out and cut the ladder off, top wrung at 25 top bet and if you hit come down a wrung and double the bubble down two. If you martingale the field , you would have been busted out real early. Thanks for doing it this way.

Field is the problem with the iron cross. If it’s not hitting it’s bleeding you

See a field roll, bet a field roll.
You would have avoided those losses, here in this video.
You only lose once, then wait for another field roll.
You still get paid on those long streaks of field rolls, which happen a lot.
(Laddering losses or pressing wins still possible too)

The Ultimate IC is either the Passline CO w/ the IC or a travelled DP w/ an IC.

I gave this a thumbs down NOT for the video, but for this variation of the Iron Cross and it is the WORST variation of the Iron Cross I have EVER SEEN!!!!!!
    This is BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!!!
I would ONLY advocate a strategy if it MAKES SENSE and this makes NO SENSE WHATSOVER!!!!!
Here is what I would do DIFFERENTLY:
I would do a collect FIRST THEN press for ANY of the Iron Cross numbers that hit - the 5,6 or 8 - and for the FIeld bet, I would do also a collect FIRST then press and keep doing that until it loses and when it DOES, just go back to the original $10 bet and REPEAT!
When you seven out, just go back to the ORIGINAL Iron Cross set-up; $25 on the number 5 and $30 each on 6 and 8 and $10 on the Field bet and just keep doing the collect FIRST THEN press on the 2nd hit for ALL numbers, and the Field bet is the ONLY one that will go down or back to $10 after the collecting then pressing fails if one of the Iron Cross box numbers hits, but for the box numbers there is NO limit to the collect THEN press for EACH of those numbers until the seven shows up, then you go back to the ORIGINAL set-up as I stated previously.
IF you happen to get ALL of the box numbers to where at least the LEAST amount results in 3 times the Field minimum, then you can press the STARTING Field bet to $20.
An example of this would be you got the 6 up to $240, the 8 up to $120, but got the 5 ONLY up to $50. NOW you can start off the Field bet at $20 because the 5 will pay $70, which puts you a little above the 3 to 1 ratio for the Field bet, since the 5 is at that LOWEST amount for that 3 to 1 ratio, and now you can collect FIRST THEN press for a higher Field amount!

Like the option you presented. I am not a fan of the iron cross for a few reasons, the field being one. If it’s not hitting, it bleeds you. I rolled this according to how I was asked. 3:1 ratio I like, but I use the field to get box numbers and press the box.

@@DiceDegen The Iron Cross can be an EXCELLENT way to play because you make money on EVERY roll of the dice except the obvious BAD number, but you can STILL make quite a BIT of money if you try what I suggested in one of your future episodes, and I would appreciate it if you mention me IF you decide to test it out. Also, I would additionally suggest that if you want to make even MORE money, you can go for what I call the ENHANCED Iron Cross, where you would add the remaining box numbers of 4, 9 and 10, and there are 2 ways you can do that. One of them would be as SOON as you win your FIRST doubled-up Field bet, start with the 9 first with the extra $10, then with the next other 2 wins of at least doubled-up money from the Field wins only, add the 4 or 10 next - it doesn't matter which one - and then whichever number remained, add that last number for the next doubled-up Field hit, and then also include those numbers - the 4,9, and 10 - for collecting FIRST THEN pressing every 2nd time they hit, JUST like the original Iron Cross numbers of 5, 6 and 8, and then you should be KICKING ASS, along with the collecting FIRST THEN pressing of the Field bet, and the ONLY bet you will reduce to $10 is the Field bet when it loses by an IRON CROSS number ONLY, and NOT from a 4,9 and 10 hit if you happen to have added those and then when you seven-out, then you start all over again for the NEXT shooter, by the $25 on the number 5, and $30 each on 6 and 8, and $10 in the Field bet, and rebuild again with the same strategy and add the 4,9 and 10 again in the same manner, and just keep on repeating this and try it for 10 shooters!
So your SBR - Starting Bankroll - should be $1250, but I would start with $1300, and that's for $100 for the 3 to 1 Iron Cross money for that $10 table, and then for your INITIAL action, you would have $10 on the Pass line, $5 on C & E and yes you ARE going to put that C & E bet up to PROTECT your Pass line bet and KICK ASS when that Yo hits and if the Yo hits, you will IMMEDIATELY PRESS to $20 on the Pass line and $5 EACH on C & E, and you will put just $10 for your ODDS bet!
How does that sound to you?
I forgot to add the 2nd way to fund the 4,9 and 10 would be to wait for a Field hit of either the 2 or 12, if you didn't want to fund it from the doubled up field bet wins.
