Hard to believe that someone would actually put Prizm packs in a $150 box
I get mixed feedback on unlicensed cards in baseball. If there is a strong preference from subscribers of course I'm open to dropping them.
Yeah, no way I’d buy a $150 or even $100 box with Prizm packs in it.
Definitely something I'll consider moving forward. We are limited to what our Canadian distributor can provide but we've recently established a relationship with some US distributors.
@@hitboxsportscardsalways good to hear. Distribution can unfortunately make or break these type of products. Personally I love these type of boxes when the pack selection is right. I HIGHLY recommend stepping away from any panini baseball products due to the fact that they’re unlicensed.
I’ve wanted to try your product but have yet to pull the trigger because the type of packs you get for the price isn’t exactly what I’m looking for. If I’m spending $150+ I really don’t want packs like Allen & ginger (of any type), 21 & 22 chrome OR chrome anniversary, or any type of heritage except maybe bowman heritage. I’d rather have 5 packs of high quality hobby wax over 8-9 packs of entry level hobby wax.
@@JZF629 that's pretty much where the Hall of Fame box was oriented, and while I have a good handle on that for the other sports Baseball is presenting a learning curve.
Next month Hall of Fame has 23 Chrome Update Jumbo, 2 packs of 21 Chrome Sapphire, 23 Update Jumbo, and two packs of 22 Finest Flashback.
I've looked at adding products like Museum and Tribute but they would eat up a very significant portion of the overall cost. I'm not sure if that would be a better route or not.

The message on Panini is loud and clear, there is Select in some boxes next month but after that we will be moving away from unlicensed cards in the boxes 😅

I like that Hitbox is taking the time to review these comments and answer concerns. Constructive critique is always better than bashing. I share the sentiment though about Panini. Great video.
Yeah baseball is the last sport we added to our lineup and obviously it's a bigger issue than I had anticipated.
Feedback will make us better.

@Jabs….interested in the Vivas if you move it in an auction or as a stand alone transaction.. I feel similarly to those that have commented, if you’re going to charge into the 100s for a repack box, no unlicensed products. Panini does not hold any value in the baseball segment of the hobby.. I would also be more interested with fewer (but higher value/potential) packs as well. No low end topps in the high end boxes. Bowman, good year topps chrome and new release higher end topps in the high end boxes. Okay with Archives Allen & Ginter etc in the low end boxes though..

How does the “All-Star” box cost more than the “Hall of fame” box? All-stars are great but HOFers are the best. It’s even the furthest down on the label lol
The Hall of Fame tier was added after we launched, it was actually a customer suggestion that we implemented. It made naming the new box a little tricky admittedly 😅
It's really just about big packs, no extras, so we put it at the top.

I would be very upset getting any Panini packs out of mystery pack boxes. The lowest tier and highest tier Hit Boxes were the best IMO. Also, you cannot honestly compare the products without also comparing the numbered parallels as well. I agree with picking 23 Chrome Update as the winner. But I think it may have been closer if you also considered all the parallels...
Fun comparison there. Panini is dead to serious collectors not for sure.

I used to have a few of the big named players from the 55 bowman TV cards. I was given them and I traded them for Nascar stuff as that was what I was into at the time.

A PSA 9 UD Griffey Rookie would be a little out of the price range of including in this box, but we do have chasers in the pool. This one was pretty average value for what to expect.
@@hitboxsportscards I guess that's true, I'm not one to flip for money so it's definitely still a nice card to have.
@@supersolidsnake7772maybe down the road though. Adding bigger chasers to the pool this month and add we get bigger I'll be able to add more.

Keep the Piniti packs out of your boxes, nobody wants them.
All together I wouldn't give you $100 for them all. Those "hit " boxes are a rip off. If I were gonna spend 500 bucks on something...id go all in on a nice 500 box or singles.
