Loads of great ideas! Im currently planning a terrarium for a pacman frog, so trying to decide on suitable plants. I figure some that will grow up the sides of the tank as well as a few that provide cover...
I've always loved plants. I had a good collection is my 20s and early 30s. Unfortunately I only have one now and don't have the space to own any more atm. But, I'm in the stages of planning an 18x18x24 viv for a crested gecko, and I'm nearly as excited to plant it as I am to own my first "exotic" pet. I was wondering if you might be able to do a video on great plants to have in a viv with cresties, gargs, or chewies. I recently found out that the plant hobby has exploded with the rise of social media personalities. I was staggered to see what the prices for many plants are now. I mean, back when I was in it, you could find many of the highly sought after species and cultivars at the local Home Despot or Lowe's for under ten bucks. You mentioned the genus anthurium. Those used to be cheap. I was hoping to have one of those most of all, but I doubt I could finance the acquisition lol. Anyway, love work you do. Have fun on your trips. Cheers, from north Alabama.
@@MikeTytula I'm not sure about humidity except that it's not high. We run AC so that probably brings it down. The temperature never gets below 60 and we never use the heater because we are in Southern California. I have a happy Prayer Plant in there but I mist the leaves.
Could you please please please tell your specific setup for p. Lynnhannoniae?? I've been trying to grow one for a long time and they seem to hate me. What kind of temps does it like? Do you have a temperature drop at night? What counts as low light? Please help!
@@katiebug5273 Right on! Don't be fouled by the name the Schefflera can still get quite large. But you could definitely grow it in that size viv. You should be able to find one at pretty much any garden centre.

Hi. What is the best live plants for veild chemelons? In glass enclosure, Also how do you prevent mould growth on wood or what type or wood should you use. My spider wood currently is growing mould in chemelon wooden enclosure. I'm changing it this weekend. Your advice would be highly appreciated.
Theres a lot there to unpack! Firstly, what species of chameleon are you housing, and what size tank are you housing it in? Secondly, there are many species of plants that are great for chameleons, check out Bill Strand at the chameleon Academy, he has a whole list of plants that are suitable as well as a ton of resources for learning.
