Und kein Mensch ausserhalb Deutschlands weiß, dass es ein deutscher Film ist. Ich würde mich noch nichtmal als sonderlich patriotisch betiteln, aber das regt mich richtig auf😂

well according to reports, he was a pain in the ass on set and got under the director's nerves so he was banned from the premiere. i'd cut him some slack since he got injured a lot while doing stunts and stuff.

In fact, however, it was almost ten months of shooting - but he only got paid for three. As a result, his parents hired a lawyer. Later Noah got part of the remaining gage - but was excluded from the celebration, premiere of the movie and everything else as a punishment.
I went to the same school with Tami in Israel, before she had to move to the USA due to her parents work, and that's where she was found for the part in the movie. Good memories!

I read the description, omg I didn't know what happened to Noah, being paid for only 3 months when it took 10 months ! What a shame ! Poor him. I've also heard that he get injured during filming (horse accident or something), I don't know if it's true. I remember that some years ago (so pretty recently) he organized a fund raising to pay for a back surgery. He claimed it was still linked to his injuries during the Neverending Story's filming...
Yes, he was injured during pre-production, when a horse got spooked and fell on him, as Noah said. He was severely injured in his back and production already started to look for another actor, but he luckily recovered enough he could shoot the film. Noah also said that back in California, he once mad one back flip after another for a production and his back just snapped...

So, Petersen says that Ende didn't see the film, but there is a critic in which Ende says what he thinks about the sphinxes, the ivory tower... So, what he saw was not the film, but the preproduction, right? In any case, I feel Petersen took a very high risk making only the first part of the book. Althought he has had a very commercial point of view, I love Das Boot.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher was Böhmi da gesehen haben will. Eichinger selber knutscht die Kinder gar nicht ab, sondern steht abseits. Petersen bekommt von beiden zur Begrüßung je ein Knutscher auf die Wange (nicht auf den Mund). Und Blacky lässt sich wie väterlicher Freund oder Opa ebenso verabschieden von seinen kleinen Gästen. Lieber Jan Böhmermann, man kann es übertreiben mit seiner Fürsorge. Schlimmer aus meiner Sicht, ist die Verunglimpfung vergangener Stars durch unzutreffende Äußerungen im Podcast, die ja auch viele Hörer für bare Münze nehmen.

Bernd Eichinger, the producer of the film, said, that the US is the obvious place to search for an indian. And most probably Noah was not invited because he was banned from the premiere for not ceasing to demand more money, as he worked ten months instead three for the same pay...
He was paid for 3 months, but the shooting took ten months. They sued the producers for the money for the additional 7 months. Bernd Eichinger then told him, that he would not be invited to the premiere, if they would not stop the lawsuit. They did not stop, he wasn't invited and he got a part of the missing money. That's the story. Too sad. That's why he wasn't in Germany a second time for the films premiere. But there are also no photos of him at US premieres. I don't know why.

Bernd Eichinger then told him, that he would not be invited to the premiere, if they would not stop the lawsuit. They did not stop, he wasn't invited and he got a part of the missing money. That's the story. Too sad. That's why he wasn't in Germany a second time for the films premiere. But there are also no photos of him at US premieres. I don't know why.
