Great looking bike. Definitely take metal components clean and new. Bearings need replaced if you're riding a lot. Chain soaked in oil. Stuff like that helps a lot. As far as paint can't go wrong either way. Really like that design. Definitely new grips. Now that's just my take. Good luck with that bike.
Bro I love bikes my friend collects old vintage bikes he lives in Santa Maria California also I see your into camping and the outdoors any rate gonna watch your other videos also I just subscribed to your channel 🤙
I would just keep her the way it is by polishing up the old Chrome and use a little fine 1800 Grit wet sandpaper to polish up the paint by wet sanding and then use rubbing compound or wax too preserve the paint but other than that that's a sweet looking Rider !!, I'm glad you took the old tires off the old ones probably rode like hard rubber lots of rolling resistance.
Now if I remember correctly when this bike was sold through the BF Goodrich Tire Store companies BF Goodrich supplied the tires for these bikes .@@aliveandwell2078

Hey Randy! These old bikes are amazing, they just don’t make them like this anymore. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I have a 58 Schwinn hornet women's bike
Old bikes are just plain built better. All it needs now is a motor. Lol.
