Recently, Mount Carmel College, a very prestigious all girls institution in Bengaluru decided to become co-ed. After which, SoSouth spoke to a few students from Mount Carmel College to know their opinion on it.

IMHO...boys in co-ed tend to be more dignified than boys in men's college. The presence of girls around will definitely make boys learn to speak more politely to both sexes. Having said that, there will always be few uncouth boys in co-ed as well. On the whole, co-ed is much better.
Co ed is better obviously. Nowadays marriages happen late in life so one should explore their sexuality which is more possible in co ed colleges.
Please don't bring social engineering here. Social Engineering is BIG NO for Asian countries both socially and politically.

It gives them confidence in corporate world.
It's not about asian values. It's about human values
