is that just me or really Kibo Bae upper body lean backward a little when she aim?
i lean backward abit too and my trainer said that is not correct stand, still trying to fix it. until now after seing Bae make me wonder should i fix my stand or not :)

nobeltnium you mean to the front? my trainer said its okay as long as you lean your whole body to the front and not just your upperbody. i am not a pro so correct me if im wrong:)

follow your coach. lean back is not correct. There is some tilt at the waist for shooting 70 meters, but no lean back.

You're welcome. The stabilizer (not balancer), absorbs the bow vibrations when shot. It also balances the bow.

starcraftguy1 it wasn't explained very well, the way olympic recurve is shot the bow is only held by the tension of pulling back the string. There is no grip from the hand holding the bow so when released the bow jumps forward into the finger sling. The stabilisers weight then causes it to rotate down.

Patrick Stensness english versions of names are not always supposed to be pronounced as one would think. Pronouncing it Chay is more correct than Choi. it should be pronounced like ch-weh. tell the 2.3 million ppl in korea named 취 that they pronounce their names wrong. do you speak korean?
