I've had three chihuahuas. Cause, once I had the joy of a chihuahua, I'll forever need one in my life! My little girl now is Darla. I've learned they can be prone to three things owners need to talk about with their vet. You may already know: 1) Glaucoma (two of my tiny girls had it). 2) Hypoglycemia (they sometimes need several little meals through the day) 3) Unstable knees (my tiniest girl had double surgeries on each knee; Darla is on a medication to keep her cartilage healthy and hopefully avoid arthritis as she ages. Her case isn't as serious as my little Dolly's was. Enjoy your baby! They are living antidepressants! ❤️

Oh my, they don't come in cuter! What a sweetie. So tiny, I would never put that baby on the ground. My girlfriends husband is going through his second round of transplant for cancer treatment. He was a big guy. He would hunt with his black lab. His sweet lab passed during his first round of stem cell transplant. She went out and got a little micro toy chi. That lil' boy has been his guardian angel. Has made such a difference in his attitude. He carriers him everywhere. Thanks for sharing your little one. Enjoy your time in Florida. What a sweetheart!! Please use a safer seat for him. A friend of mine was in a car accident with her chi. The dog slammed into the dashboard and was killed instantly. I use a seat called a Pup Saver for my Maltese. Please check them out!

Chihuahuas are listed in the toy dog group and nothing else. Chihuahuas and pit bulls are the two most common dogs being dumped at shelters and abandoned all over the country currently. If any of you want a chihuahua please contact a rescue group who rescues chihuahuas from shelters and abandoned chihuahuas ( that is where my Chihuahua is from a rescue group ) As for the hammock your baby is riding in needs to go asap ! Sorry to be so honest Lana . I wish you luck with your baby but know a lot of people will see this video .

@@Iionkit. my Kona is probably a cross Rat terrier & Chi. It matters not he isn't purebred. His former owner crated him 12 hours a day, then put him on Craigs list. Poor little guy sucks his blanket when anxious :( He has his freedom now 🌺🌴🌺
I've read that some "tea cup" pups have genetic conditions due to some breeders breeding for the size, and the genetic abnormalities develop. Some are truly too small and it causes physical ailments. I love this puppy, but I will get my next chi at a rescue or shelter.
He is so handsome, Lana! 😍 The hammock is cute, and, I hate to be one of those people, but honestly it's very unsafe. Having been in a serious car accident and gotten broken bones, I can attest to how unexpected accidents happen, and I would be very upset to think of what would happen to a dog that is unrestrained in a car accident. They do make doggy "seat belts" where the dog has a comfortable dog bed-like surface to lay down on the center counsel armrest, and it has a harness that safely keeps the dog secure so he/she will not fly through the windshield and be hurt or killed in the event of an accident. And it's super cute too!! I say this as a huge animal (specifically dog) lover, and long time supporter of yours. 💕

ShariSez1 Sorry for any confusion; I am not talking about carriers/crates. I am talking about actual harnesses that strap the dog in like an actual seat-belt, just like how we are seat-belted into a car. You can google them and do the research fro yourself to see what product I am talking about.
She (I am guessing due to the pink accessories) is flipping adorable she is so tiny you could just carry her in your pocket ♥ I love the little hammock she seemed very content just gliding along as you drove well I am sure that duck foot helped they are like crack for my dogs...your new best forever friend is pretty darn amazing.

My Boy Kona is a rescue Chi. No way would I let him travel in a car like that ! Kona is precious too me.
