    Hi Mark,
    You are certainly a very busy man and the garden is really taking shape 👍👍👏👏👏 great video and advice, I am about to plant my much smaller ones this spring and love the shape you created, advice about the stones to help hold them down etc. 👍👍🏝🏝 I do have TF that I bought from a garden centre, which has four growing from the one pot…. I thought being Scottish, BARGAIN 👍 I guess if I plant it out I will have four very close together? What would you suggest, I have the picture on instagram. Keep up the great work Mark.

      Thanks Darren, again, i really appreciate your feedback. Since going in the ground they've had a growth spurt. As has the Parterre behind. Must do an update soon.

    You watch how fast and big these things grow now they are in the ground ,BUT they will go through a process because of the roots being disturbed, they hate it ,so the first year they will sleep ,second year they will creep and the third year they will leap and then they will reach for the sky ,so it takes about 3 years before you will see the proper growth of you're palms and that's from years of experience of multiple species of palms I have planted in my garden ! Looks amazing !

      Thanks lee, i was wondering when they might start making better progress. I guess all the work is going on underground this year. Mark

    Looks very nice. I've had one in a pot for 5 years or so, and it never seems to get any bigger, I guess they are slow growers?

    • @MarksHouseandGardenUK
      @MarksHouseandGardenUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they are pretty slow, but you can help them out with the right conditions. I'm expecting ours to grow a little faster in the earth. Fingers crossed

      Hi there. I didn't have any in stock so none on this occasion. I'm quite sure it's beneficial if it's your prererence. Happily these are all three sprouting lovely new leaves from the top so i think we've gotten away with it.

      @@MarksHouseandGardenUK good! I'm glad to hear it. I must admit I planted most of my palms without it and they're fine but some of the experts recommend it.
