I'm with Mike on moving furniture!! Same reason, 40 years helping in the Auction business, moved more than my share of furniture and, "miscellaneous " shall we say. Graduate of Missouri Auction School in 1977. It did help pay for 3 pickups, hauling treasures home for buyers with no truck. Let's just say, we use Two Men and a Truck these days. That bundler is well thought out, and the welding and fabrication look top notch!
Welcome home Mike. You have Melissa dancing and I bet you have a B.K. run planned for Hunter. Maybe a 10 pointer lurking in your back 40, what more could a man ask for?...Great vid. Thanks.
I did a lot of furniture when I was young and then one of my mothers friends wanted some help moving, I ended up moving her 6 times in one year and now I avoid it like the plague.
I have a nice mod for the firewood bundler I will have to share with the manufacturer. They could have had the front U shaped upright fold down as their handle so you have two hands like a wheel barrow. When in use, fold up and pin in place. Welcome back. Sorry the Elk didn't cooperate. I went to Montana elk hunting about 10 years ago. I went with my cousin who had been there before. He said if you get an Elk, that is just icing on the cake. It is enough of a trip though just to be out there and see everything. I thought, yeah, right! But, he was right.
Good morning! Mike, it’s a toss up who is not getting electricity in their shed first, you or me. I’ve been talking with a contractor since March and wasn’t done when I went in April, it wasn’t done when I went in July, and isn’t done now and I’ll be there Tuesday afternoon. I may have to scrape a flat spot in the crown of the driveway so I can lay boards out to protect the power cord. I had hoped to be done with stringing cords and setting up lights. I need to be able to work in that shop after dark. Anyway, good to have you back doing OWTM stuff!
We had a frost this morning in Maine. The leaves here are past peak color now and with the rain and wind in the forecast I expect they will be on the ground over the next few days.
Good morning Morgans and friends. Welcome home Mike. The flag pole area is going to be Rockin. Rain now settled in for a couple days with a flood watch in place. Get er done Mike, it's heading your way. Tell family hello and have a day. We'll see ya down the road....
I’m glad you had a good time on your hunt. I get to go this week in Oregon. I love the sunrise from the mountain we hunt looking east towards Idaho, it just never gets old.
Mike, glad you had a safe trip. The 4-runner, highlander, and crv are top notch. You can't go wrong with any of them. Our son has a 2001 4 runner and over 200k mi on it. We bought it used with 150K miles and the only mechanical problem was the water pump went bad. Good luck with your decision.
Way to bust a move there Melissa. A week away from home is just about my max time away. 10 days would be a lot for me. Being home is great. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome home and we returned from Pittsburgh vacation yesterday. We stayed in Harmarville exit 11 off of Rt 28 and were in the hotel when that storm went through with tornado touch downs not to far away. Just like Spring time storms here in Indiana.
That firewood bundler is really a cool deal. Glad you had a good time on your hunting trip. That’s the main thing. Then if you get one that’s even better. Good to see you back👍👍👍❤️
Sounds like you had a great trip if you saw elk that's half the battle you don't get one every trip but if you think you want to go back you had a great time it is always nice to be back home
Welcome home Mike, it’s strange to say but I missed a guy I’ve never met! We’re all glad you had a safe trip, a great time and made some more memories!
Hi Mike, I know while hunting the goal is to get one. But the fun of the hunt is paramount. I’ve gone out west to Montana and we didn’t get one but like you saw and heard them and had a great time. I’ve also hunted Moose in Canada with no success but enjoyed it as well. The main thing is a safe hunt. Now at 76 I think my hunting is done but wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. Wayne from Wisconsin
Nice bundler but you would think for something that’s gonna be around wood and outside it wood have bigger wheels for easy of use and not getting stuck on stuff. Even a small pebble on that concrete will stop those castors pretty quick
I always try to remember to hit that like button even before I watch the video just because I know I'm gonna like your video...you're just a very interesting guy to watch! 👏💖👏
Welcome home Mike. It is good to be home. Other than the beginning of Spring season, I love the Fall/Autumn weather here in Kentucky. It is much like Pennsylvania. Lots of leaves changing and falling on the ground. Lots of wildlife out and about. Football games all over the state on Friday nights. And holidays that bring family and friends together. Thanks again for sharing your lives with us. It's great.
Nice coloring in the trees. We were up in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire this past week and the foliage was just was nice as western pa. Glad you had a good time in Colorado. The wheels and handle will make the bundler easier to get around. Stay safe.
I've taken Amish boy out to Colorado and Montana to go hunting 5 times so far. They have yet to ever come home without at least one elk. Last year the outfitter told me after the boys were out in the mountains that he had put englishers up there and they came out empty handed. The five boys brought home the meat and antlers from 4 bull elk and one make deer buck that was as big as a buggy horse. I've talked to several englishers who have hunted for years with out an elk. Last year the boys went and found were they spent the day, didn't wait for them to come down in the evening.
Good morning. As you stack the wood in the bundler, you should stuff the wrap into the bundle between a log or two. That way you don't have to hassle with it at the end. Then, just push the wrap button at the end! After the a wrap is done, cut the wrap and pull out enough slack for the next bundle. Also, I'd mount the wheels laterally, so they stick out the back. That way the bundler rests on the four corner pads and is stable. When you have to move it,, just tilt it back on the wheels and roll! ....Or not, and just say that we did. "Where's the BEEF?" BUMMER, no HORNS!. I've never seen a elk (I grew up in Pasadena, Ca....no elk...just a few coyotes.). Speaking of RACKS....gota have a roof rack on the BRONCO! ....ya-know....to haul yir elk out of the woods. OH, NO BRONCO yet. ....I'll mail you a Denver Broncos T-shirt. Haha 😄
I hope the kiln arrives soon so you can put that C@C machine to use. Trade walnut tree removal for a book matched slab epoxy resin table. Next year the wood shop and maple syrup shack get built. Every wood burning client gets utube exposure especially restaurants, your going to be busy. I hope you can also cut some dead standing that's dry.
The bundler looks to be an excellent investment. It will work nice inside during winter. I hoped you would get an elk but only 17 percent do. I was at the Malt Shoppe in Pagosa Springs and overheard a Texan bragging to his wife that he finally got an elk after 17 years And there is always next year
Great opening , really mastering that drone footage. Combined with music mix. Melissa is doing her “I’m happy Mike’s back home” dance . I guess the rust is about to disappear on the log splitter and the conveyor chain. With that severe weather you spoke of it might require trail clearing on your trail system . Keep those videos coming great work !
Mike, I hate to sound like a broken record, but the wife and I were going out for a bit of lunch after church today, Sunday 10-24. We were in Sanford, FL and we were behind yet another new Bronco Sport. This is the third one I've seen in the last few weeks. The one today was white with a black top.
Now I know where Melissa got the gift of gab your dad being a auctioneer fits pretty good with how you speak. You guys are looking as good as ever welcome back Mike. Hello Hunter. Thank you for sharing your video with us. Ed
Would be nice if you could run that bundler down in your firwood bin to limit handling of wood pieces. Be sure to have some wrap on hand, buy now before it gets more scarce!!
Hello Mike & Melissa, sorry you didn't get an Elk, maybe next time. I may be wrong since I am an Army man, but I believe that the term is half staff for the flag on land and half mast on a ship. Just a suggestion.
I'm sure you guys are on this, but with recent reports of a 53% increase in the price of heating fuel for this winter. I have a strong feeling that you can probably sell all the firewood you can get off the new firewood floor. In spite of the fact that some of it will be a bit less dry than you might like, it will burn. Sorry about the elk. This bundled firewood thing will take off. Glad you got a new employee.
As a couple, don't you just love the conversations which begin with...."why don't you tell them how you like to......???" Yep! Been there done that! Beth and I were both laughing hysterically when you guys were going through the discussion of packing and moving furniture. Some things are just universal! 👍👏❤️

Message for Melissa : Heard you bought a "Cricket" die-cut machine - did you check out the "Silhouette" machine ? It's bigger and offers more frills to do more !! It's an amazing machine and can do so much more. My wife has one and it is quite impressive !!
Glad you’re home. When you get the flag pole would you post the link where you got it? I’ve been looking for one and want a good one. We live in Vermont so it has to take the weather. Thanks Mike!
I agree. I want to get a flag pole as well, just need something that'll withstand the wind that we get randomly. I'd rather not fly the flag in a really bad windstorm but sometimes you have no choice if you aren't home. Need an all weather flag as well...none of those cheapy flags....had one at work that was so cheap that it got rained on once and the red and blue started running through the white stripes, terrible quality cheap Chinese flags :(. I think the weather proof flags are cloth if I'm not mistaken, but trying to find them is getting harder it seems. I thought about one of those telescoping flag poles but not sure they'd hold up to a high wind.
Another great "toy" for you, Mike !! Man, that's a great looking bundler for your growing firewood business !! Looks like it's totally powder coated to keep the rust away, too !! Best Wishes as you develop the business. Really looks impressive around your building with all your equipment lined up - ready for action !!
Thank you Mike and Melissa !
Thank you for putting the music credit in the video. I like a lot of the songs you use and now I can look them up afterward.
This video covered a lot of small items...and made me smile. Thanks Mike & Melissa!
💥That bundler is really awesome! The manufacture is fortunate to have you promote their product. Great job!
*Keep on tractoring!*
Looks like a well built piece of equipment, and I love the simplicity of the wheel kit, plus it looks very durable.

Hi Mike i appreciate all the work you do. So that I can have a great videos to watch thanks have a day love from TEXAS
If you like to work all year round in the wood yard put up a roof covering the saw or over the firewood bin with rollup blinds to stop rain and wind.
Loved the opening song … and the commentary …😎
