    I really want to thank you for posting these videos. I have OCD and with it Dermatillomania. Videos like these help me keep from picking at my skin, but most of them are short so they don't help enough, but I recently found your channel, and your videos are longer, and there are so many of them with some really GREAT pops, so I am proud to say that I haven't picked at my skin in over a week! Thank you so much! I hope my skin will clear up now that I'm not picking at my skin anymore. You're a lifesaver, literally, (well, at least a skin saver lol). You rock!

      @@skybug1706 I've been doing pretty well. My dermatillomania manifests and several ways so I can usually self-soothe by watching dermatology videos, audiology videos, even some veterinary videos will work. Also I find that using the Elmer's glue hack to mimic peeling skin is very useful. The only time I panic is if my OCD is being hyperactive and I can't appease it. This can set off the dermatillomania and if I don't have glue... Yeah it's tough. It happens from time to time, being disabled and poor. But I keep on truckin! ☺️

    These are the best! Absolutely my new fav. A polite suggestion; when showing “us” the hair from a pop, maybe count to 5 or a little longer because the camera doesn’t have time to focus and it is the cherry on top! So satisfying. I’m impressed with your techniques and your bedside manner is tops. You talking through the painful ones helps your patients (AND me) breath because I often tense up just watching... but the end of a squeeze provides such relief and satisfaction!!!

    Hey Mr Greg. Like ur vids. My oldest son had a couple real bad years with breakouts. We lived 90 miles from the dermatologist & he taught me how to keep my son cleared between visits. I did very warm compresses, opened pores & then used a metal bar to kinda scrap those blackheads out. Some would need some squeeze. But if we went over 3 days without he would have horrible inflammatory places mostly on shoulder & upper back (where his football pads rode). Thnx to the meds & treatments, he has no scarring like his father still has. I wish I had known about the q-tip method back then so less pain!

Maybe you could allow them to come up with a fake name and then you could use their made up name in the title? Obviously it’s just a suggestion so do with it what you will LOL. I’ve seen this done before and it really helps especially for returning patients that have multiple sessions. It also helps us refer to a specific person when asking questions and such. 🙂

    I wish all doctors would have your bedside manners. The way you talk to your patients during procedures is awesome. I’m sure it calms a lot of them down. I hate it when doctors do procedures on patients in almost absolute silence. To me it’s very unnerving for some reason.
    I also just noticed, because I just watched a video of one of your other patients, how you change your “squeezing technique”, depending on the pain tolerance of your patients. In the previous video, the young lady had a lot higher pain tolerance, so you were able to “just squeeze” with the cotton tip applicators (I always chuckle at that name).
    Since this young lady has a lower pain tolerance, you do, what I call, the “stutter squeeze”. Which seems to be a lot more tolerable for patients with lower pain tolerance, but it gets the same result.
    Again, I absolutely love your bedside manners and not just capability of adjusting your technique depending on the situation but your willingness to do so. Let’s be honest, some doctors are not very good at that. They are set in their ways of doing things and patients just have to deal with it.
    You are amazing at what you do and your patients are lucky to have you, as are your staff.
    Sending respect and appreciation from Germany ❤

    This beautiful girl does so well. I had acne when i was a teen. It was miserable. They always seemed to show up just before school picture day. That was the 70s, so all we had then, was either Clearasil or 60/40/20. I'm 62 now, and found that my nose is rough feeling & the pores are enlarged. What can i do about that? I do use the Revitalift by LOreal.

    A QUESTION FOR Mr POPZIT Could you tell me why you dont use a numbing cream like Enilsa so that it doesnt cause so much pain .
    Ps love your work and not having a go at you ,just wondered that's all

    • @MMM40727
      @MMM40727 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I wish he would study Enilsa’s style. The way she stretches the skin makes them pop out better. She also doesn’t pinch the skin like he does when he loses the grip and the q-tips go in opposite directions. That’s gotta hurt!

    • @Julie0liver
      @Julie0liver 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MMM40727 I agree. Plus she puts pressure from the base, also causing less pinching as seen here!

    We missed your nurse today. She’s there with the gauze quick as a flash to wipe the skin before you have time to squash the extractions all over the face! Gold star for her!

    Bless her heart, she really does seem to have a low pain threshold. I wonder, would it help her to take a mild pain killer an hour before treatment to help minimise the pain felt?

    I can tell this girl is very very sensitive to pain. I have a son that's the same way he is 15 and my oh my it's hard for me to understand but I try so hard😅
    What thank goodness you are so very patient and understanding. Truly exactly who this girl needs to have as her doctor

    Would using a lazori to kill excessive hair roots prevent some types of acne?

    So, since this patient has so many vellus hairs in her blackheads, I'm wondering if some laser hair treatments would help prevent the formation of future blackheads?
