Cataract Falls in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a little hidden gem that's not to be missed. Less than 0.75 miles in length, the easy and family friendly hike to Cataract Falls departs the Sugarlands Visitors Center along the picturesque Fighting Creek Nature Trail and winds its way over cascading creeks to the Cove Mountain Trail just behind the Park Headquarters. The 25' foot high Cataract Falls is comprised of a gentle two-tier cascade with a large shallow pool that's a favorite for kids to play in during the warmer parts of the year. Thanks for watching!
