Lubing the core helped speed up the outers, which reduced the dragging issue. I used Gravitas, Traxxas 50k, and picube yellow. There's a lot of hollow sections in the inner layers. The best way to slow them down is to put more lube where the midge wing rests as that's one of the few solid contact points.

How do you set up your gan 5x5?
I’m having some issues where the 2nd layer turns when I want to do an outer turn
