I’m impressed with all the stories you were able to think through! I subscribed to these for a year but must admit I didn’t accomplish much because I’m a 12x12 scrapbooker. It was hard for me to wrap my mind around smaller formats. This inspires me to revisit that stash and the video content.
This is a great video and I like how you have updated your process since your AE Class which I loved as well. Just so I understand, are you now keeping everything in your planner ( ideas, yearly goals, monthly goals, list of kits and action steps? Also, I have not only accumulated AE kits, Cocoa Daisy Kits, Heidi Swapp kits, etc., I also "collect" Simple Stories Bundles and Echo Paper Bundles. Not sure if you use the bundles and wondered how you would keep all of this information tracked. Thank you so much, Linda.
Thank you! Yes everything related to craft planning is now in this one planner. It’s similar to the craft planner I had in my class as far as use. The only real difference is I’ve added in my kit plans in here rather than a separate binder to have it all in one place. I don’t use those bundles so I don’t have great tips for them, sorry! But I track all my supplies in and out regardless of brand as best I can (see my most recent plan with me video! It shows my June set up) and do project plans when it makes sense. I hope this helps! ❤️
Hey Linda can you link to the paper organizer you show at around 4:40, you said it comes from IKEA but I have never seen anything like this at that store?
Sure! It’s a newer product (maybe a few years now?) but it was always sold out when it first came out. Here is a link: www.ikea.com/us/en/p/kallax-insert-with-4-shelves-white-40423719/
I too have been subscribing for years. It was amazing to see how you look at the kit, make a plan and keep track of the plans. Thank you for sharing and hope to see more of these process planning videos. Cheers!
Thank you!! I don’t plan to share more like this with story kits here in the foreseeable future because I do share a video like this in the story kit classroom as one of the monthly lessons for the current kit! But I will likely share other project planning videos so stay tuned. ❤️
I love seeing how you plan your kits, and I was just thinking how cool it would be to see a video sharing all the projects you made with these plans!!!
Yes! I’ve considered doing that and I did go through and make all the projects from a kit in my plan prep & play class. But in reality, I work on the projects overtime between other kits so by the time I finish a kit they’re scattered in albums.
I went into my craft planner at the time, but that was created in January 2023 so this is my 2024 planner in this video and my process has changed over time. I do have a few more recent videos here sharing this planner. The pen is a Sarasa mark-on 0.5 and I highly recommend, I use it all the time! amzn.to/3HtzaeA

Ooh yes! I hope you are able to get more use out of your kits. You can def apply some of these ideas to 12x12 format too.
Same here...very impressed about all the things you were considering when looking through the kit.

Do you go more into your planner set up in your AE class Plan Prep & Play? Also, what pen are you using in this video?
