The ALF cartoon was pretty good. It took place entirely on his home world Melmac and really went far in explaining why he acted so weird. They had an amusement park devoted entirely to salad dressings.
I actually have this broadcast on tape at my house (well, with different local ads). The first commercial break for Smurfs appears to missing from the one here. On my tape, it includes McDonald's (Grimace and Birdie and the falling star), Sprite (the one with the snowman), and the same Oliver and Company/Sears ad featured elsewhere here.
Big Sur Waterbeds commercial. We even had those here in Colorado. Man that logo at the end brought back some memories.
