I feel like you stole nine minutes of my time by watching this video to the end. In the beginning of the video you promised you were going to help us, but by the end you had no solutions other than capitulating and buying a new printer. Very misleading
I am having the same issue here. But I would say. If you are going to buy a new printer, dont do it from the brand that just screwed you with this anti right to repair mentality.
I have a ET-4700 and ET-2800, the ET-2800 is less than 90 days old and has already thrown the E-11 code. I have replaced the ink pads but still have the E-11 code, this will be my last Epson printer.

I solved the issue by taking the printer to an Epson certified repair shop. It cost me $160, replacement piece + labor. Epson does suggest the new version ET-2850 which is $349.99.
I'll never again trust Epson , so, that ship has sailed . I'm not about to go and spend almost four hundred dollars on something I can't trust. As far as I'm concerned , Epson has RUINED its reputation with their ' bait and switch' deal with Echo Tanks ...They tell you you'll save lots of money on ink , but they DON'T tell you that you'll be buying their printers more often . If you print a lot , their E&11 Error Code won' t let your printer last even a year . DISPICABLE !

I owned my echo tank printer for about 8 or 9 months and then it suddenly shit the bed , all because the ink pad was full...They sell a replacement part for the ink pad , but it doesn't fix the problem...That's like going and buying a new TV that has the same problem as your old one ,
There should be a class action suit against Epson for intentionally sabotaging their product to sell MORE printers MORE often . This is a RIPOFF that they intended to fool people into thinking they were saving money on ink, but they said NOTHING about a stupid error code that basically kills your printer before its time so that you have to go buy a new one .
