Epson E11 Error | Cannot Print

The Epson E11 Error comes about when a page counter or sensor in the printer detects that the waste ink management system in the printer is full. It can happen to cartridge models or EcoTank printers. The waste ink system will need to be cleaned out or replaced by an Epson service technician. However, this is expensive and seems to me to have bricked what was otherwise a perfectly good Epson EcoTank printer. I have a ET-4700 and ET-2800, the ET-2800 is less than 90 days old and has already thrown the E-11 code. I have replaced the ink pads but still have the E-11 code, this will be my last Epson printer.

I am having the same issue here. But I would say. If you are going to buy a new printer, dont do it from the brand that just screwed you with this anti right to repair mentality.

I feel like you stole nine minutes of my time by watching this video to the end. In the beginning of the video you promised you were going to help us, but by the end you had no solutions other than capitulating and buying a new printer. Very misleading

I solved the issue by taking the printer to an Epson certified repair shop. It cost me $160, replacement piece + labor. Epson does suggest the new version ET-2850 which is $349.99.
