Went to that mall every Saturday morning with my Grandparents. Where the Lowes is now was Kmart. And the first 99 cent store in Carlisle was across from it. Was called Nothing over a Dollar. That green faced store was the Hallmark store and just to its left was the KayBee Toy store. I used to go in there and buy my Atari 2600 games. We never went to Bon-Ton it was for "rich people" Lol. There was a Kinny Shoe store too where my Grandma would get our school shoes. The man would measure our feet and then say "Let's see if we have that size in the back" He always did. And Grandma would always go to JoAnn Fabric to get her thread and fabrics for her quilts. I miss those simpler days.
Thanks for the tour Ray. I loved your use of cool jazz/vaporwave, very relaxing. It's sad these little gems are disappearing across the country. This one was truly vintage. Glad you brought us along 🙂
its a shame they took the Bon-Ton signs down. That store had all of the different version of the Bon-Ton logo. The inside was from the 70's, the back of the building had the newest sign, and the one on the front had the 1980's version. Giant owns the Bon-Ton space, and use it for storage. The Bon-Ton closed before the massive sell off so not suprised its empty. The Lowes used to be a K-Mart back in the 80's, which of course, is gone too.
Loving this, buddy. That's a beautiful little mall. Yeah, great old school design and decor. I like that foot locker. I've seen many old adverts from the 80s of foit locker and those wood panels are very recognizable. Cheers Ray.🙌
Others have already commented on the stores that used to be in this mall, but I’ll add that the Bath & Bodyworks used to be Jolly Time Arcade during its heyday. So many great memories hanging out with friends after school in the 90s spending countless quarters on arcade games there. Great video!

I used to go to this mall as a teenager. Back then, it was bustling. It's sad to see it like this now.
