A huge thank you for taking the time to make this video. I just deep cleaned the brewing unit on my Melitta Caffeo Bistro which has been in daily use/abuse for over 10 years! I never would have worked out how to put it all back together without your video! I also saw that the O Ring is damaged and now I've got all the info to do the job. Thank you!
@@OlegPC I have a Melitta Caffeo Barista and I need to replace the connector 047 the one on the side of the brew unit. It seems easy, however my brew unit doesn't fit back into its compartment and I see another video from you explaining to remove both side etc...but on some other video I see people resetting the machine so that you won't need to remove anything but for this you need to fool the sensor in order to initialize the coffee maker. My question is : where is the sensor ? Thanks in advance !
@@yakup_aksu The sensor (actually micro switch) - strongly reccomends dont try to "fool". Othen, after such tryings, brew ubit motor - will rotate ring (with 2 horns) on draineage valve, further then it normally should, and it brokes drainage valve or the case of brewing unit motor. This are very expensive "errors". So, dont do this.
The water not coming out from my machine. I was trying to manual unblock the pump with a tube blowing water inside but no results unfortunately...any idea please help...
Hello. Try to disassemble and find blocked part - disconnect unit by unit on water circuit and send water throw each. The same do I, then got such problems
Hello. I recommend replace seal on top piston (black rubber ring), replace orange seal in cylinder. What’s all. Other seals don’t need to be replaced. Parts number: 59920, 10219
@@OlegPC Great video! My machine is about 6 years old and started having some issues. One, milk frother is making bigger foam bubbles. Second, and most important, is not brewing coffee, sometimes. It grinds and pucks the coffee (very wet), but liquid coffee does not come out from the dispenser. Then, I need to run a rinse, take out the brew unit, rinse it … and will start working again. What can be the problem and how can I fix it without having to send it to a technician? Thanks!!!!
@@Glogluxx Hello. You can fix it by yourself - change seals in brew unit ( its easily accessible), change drainage valve ( common replaceable part of melitta machine), and change top microswitch of brew unit motor assembly (its placed on level with top piston of brew unit)
It happened to me. Fixed it looking at your video. For some reason all water goes into dip tray. Have changed drainage valve but it didn't help. Any idea ?
Hello. If water (but not coffee) goes into drip tray - water inlet spout of brew unit is, as often as drainage valve, the reason of this malfunction. It can have a little catch or broke its gasket. You can test it by trying to broke by hand (push down for instance). Not hard but with middle push power. If it’s in good condition - chances they you broke it very little.

Very useful, thank you for the video. My machine is now 3 years old. I wonder what parts are most common to replace after a few years, seals, rubbers?
