As a 2022 A45s owner I must say I love driving this car. Acceleration is just phenomenal. The 3.9secs is to 100klm/hr.(not 60mph). Other testers have got 3.65secs to 60 mph. Also most others say 421hp (not 416). A test track in a review in India got it up to 280 klms/hr. Worth every dollar.
Being the owner of a MK8 Golf R and now the owner of a A45S+ I have to say i got bored of the Mk8 R fast .Don't get me wrong i have owned a Mk7.5 R as well as the Mk8 and a Mk7.5 GTI and a Mk6 gti that was stage 3 with apr software and a revo ko4 turbo pushing 360hp but this A45S+ is special i love every second of driving it i look forward to driving it i make excuses to the wife just so i can drive it . Had it 2 months now and it still feels like i got it yesterday best car i had ever owned . i would buy another one today but without the new steering wheel the one on my 2020 A45S is the better looking one to me. Just 2 things to add about the A45S in this TH-cam video the wheels don't look right to me they are missing the AMG badge and the notch on the center cap to my knowledge should not be there correct me if I'm wrong .
As an owner of 3 A45’s. Pre facelift, FL of last gen and the pre facelift actual generation. I have to say the sound in this new one is nothing compared to the previous gen, that thing sounded like a rally car. That’s the thing I miss the most about my actual car, however the quality jump in performance, luxury and styling in the new version is miles better that the previous one
Best Car , Mercedes make. A35 may not have bonkers performance but is more under the radar. The A45S is a little obvious. Rear spoiler etc. And the £63k!! Ouch! Golf R? The sound is not good at all, no mod will get you a good sounding A45s its just impossible (3y owner of A45s). The car is fun but buying new straight up makes no sense - there are better options for the money. While there are better options for a new car, buying a used one is now perfectly considerable idea, u nailed with that conclusion.

If you can swing it, this is the best hatch you can buy. Total package.
