PINNED COMMENT: - I forgot to talk about the wheels/casters. They are great quality and the grill is very easy to move around the patio or even in grass. I had this written down, but somehow forgot to mention it. - Warranties may vary depending on where you purchase. Be sure to check on that. I’m unsure so I wanted to mention it.
Glad you are back Mike, so I just subscribed. About the subject of the temp probe vs. the lid gauge reading the same, could you show us while cooking a steak or ribs where you place the grate probe to match the lid gauge as I am still trying to figure it out. I wish S and S grills made a temp probe "holder" that you could push into the meat to read the temperature right at the level of the meat.
@@pipcop they will rarely match perfectly, but they are within a few degrees once the lid is closed long enough. The mistake people make is to open the lid too often and never allow temperatures to settle evenly around the cook chamber. It’s also important to have your coals distributed evenly throughout the slow and sear. Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel!
Great video🔥I have the SnS original kettle. It was definitely worth the money. I would definitely upgrade if I wasn’t saving up for the Weber Summit Kamado.
I’m the complete opposite, I hate being on camera😂I definitely agree about the SnS, I rarely take mine out. I’ve never had a bad meal using it. The MasterKettle is awesome!! Those indirect cheeseburgers looked amazing, that’s my favorite way to smoke them. Great review!!
The most honest reviews any where on the web! So glad to see Mike and the everyday bbq brand back as strong as ever. Sharp looking grill. SNS always a quality build
Nice review Mike! I am loving my master kettle so far. I said it in my own unboxing video but I do think it's going to replace my normal sns kettle. I like the bigger table and the cart with all the storage options. Looking forward to your first cook on it.
Good to see you back Mike! I already have too many cookers, grills, smokers and have had Weber kettles in the past. That said I bought this exact cooker for $399 when they launched it and had $50 off at Walmart. It’s the real deal and with the accessory fire baskets allows you to do wings on the perimeter or jalapeño poppers etc. I also opted for the cast iron drip pan which will never warp and thought that may be a beast for searing a steak or using as a griddle or just a drip tray that gets reseasoned every time you use it. Nice job on the review and spot on!
Great to see you again Mike. Thank you for all of your great work. I have to say, when you said $449, my eyes went wide open and my jaw dropped. It was just shocking to hear that kind of money for a 22 inch kettle.
@ great to hear, I pulled the trigger last night. Sold my PK and just didn’t like the hassle of ash clean up. Missed my kettle and always wanted a slow n sear attachment so this was a no brainer. Think it’ll last as long as a Weber?

These days, everything feels high priced. This is a product that I believe warrants with value and quality. I’ve never gone wrong with this brand.
I think I need more detail before I pull the trigger on one but I like your style

You're going to need to get a bigger yard with all those fancy cookers, Mike! Looks nice!
lol I need to get rid of some, but haven’t had time to focus on it. Thanks for your support!
Is the top of the lid flatter on the Mastertouch vs the regular SNS kettle?
I don’t believe there is any difference.
great overview video
Does it wobble when you shake it like the first sns kettle or does the cart make it more sturdy like a performer?
@@DK-wd8ju definitely very sturdy
