8:50 I totally agree with you. Saying that "EV pollute more than ICE" people do not consider (they just don't have numbers hence they follow emotional prejudices) how much the production of an ICE will pollute the env. Average small ICE pollutes 200gr CO2 * 100 000km = 20 tons of CO2 for around average just 5 years. Without taking into account much more toxic particles in exhaust. Motor oil, average 5l per 10k km means ~50l of a very toxic liquids per 100k. km. Plus a lot of additional things like used particulate filters, lead-acid batteries etc. On the other side - average EV battery weights ~500kg and contains less than 10kg of lithium. And this battery may survive its car. And the used EV batteries can now be fully recycled. Talking about "dirty electricity" people often ignore fully how much the oil and gaz production pollutes the env. EVs are obviously not perfect and not 100% env friendly, but they are much cleaner than the most modern ICE cars.
@@MADpack "To produce the ev is worst that a ICE " I have doubts about it ) The only difference is the propellant system. To get a clear picture we need the numbers for: - pollution rate for EV battery (let it be NMC) production (starting from earth rare materials mining) per battery(!) - pollution rate for ICE engine + battery production starting from iron ores mining and taking into account sulfide ores mining and roasting, sulfur oxidation (to produce lead-acid batteries). Without even taking into account things like catalytic converter production. I doubt that EV production is more polluting. Thank you for your very informative video.
Thank you so much for this video 🙏. I had this car down as my next car but the negatives you mentioned ruled it out for me. CarPlay not connecting, steering wheel buttons not alwaysworking, climate pre-conditioning not working. All essentials for me. VOLVO ❌
How are you bro happy to see you around once again is a pleasure to see you here week after week. She loves it in the beginning with the issues we had with the app she was super upset and also the radio was not working but now she is happy and she really enjoy the car
The owner of the car can send an invite from the App to the second driver to have a separate login to the App. Create a separate Volvo ID and you can both be logged into the car at the same time.
Initial set up was problematic but I contacted Volvo U.K. Support and thy have rectified the problem and it works now so we can both be logged into the car at the same time using two separate Volvo ID accounts.
I have never brought my card. If the key is unresponsive just touch on the handle on the driver side and it will open. It happens maybe 1 time out of 10.
Good review 😊 about the card and the phone charger spot. If you leave the card on the charger it’ll melt! Just enough to break it! The locking/unlock system is ridiculous, a saving grace would be a smartphone key system.
Yeah , I’ve read about it happening to a few owners. I’m guessing maybe they’ve had their key card in their phone case/wallet type thing. Wireless chargers do tend to heat up especially while running the likes of CarPlay.
@@MADpackabout unlocking with smartphone, I think it’ll be Auto Unlock proximity system. Doesn’t work well with the current system so hopefully it’ll be good.
This is funny how a guy who rides EUC bought this car. I must of bumped into this car about 100 times when looking to buy an EUC, because of the Begode Ex30. So to see an EUC guy buy this Volvo Ex30 is funny.

To produce the ev is worst that a ICE but yeah in the long run impossible thank you for your comment

No worries happy that this video helped you and I understand all your concerns I just don’t see for the price better options on the market

That's what we made but when we made that I lost access to it did you had similar issues to us?!

@vincentcunningham9510 thank you for sharing we got so frustrated that we decided to don't try again is better to work in one phone that in none
Great, very informative. I may have missed you say this in the vid but does the infotainment system support Apple CarPlay?
Yes but does it work well? No not really
Mine does :)
If any issues, you can connect it manually
Fine finally works well
The key also has a transponder same as the card. So you can hold the key against the door pillar as per the card.
I'm aware but sometimes I have the situation it doesn't work sometimes and need to use the other key
@@MADpack I have been using my EX30 for several months with the key fob. Worst case, I need to hold it there for 2-3 seconds
@ thank you for sharing your experience

Melt it??? Where have you seen that? You can lock and unlock you phone on the phone

@ man I can’t believe in the this is not wireless charging the card is NFC technology
@ that I don’t think it will happen for safety questions

wow..I thought you got a Begode..bu then Volvo..did you hit the jackpot?
Ahahah no we just work hard
Should be, 100% electric !
I didn’t understand your comment what should be 100% electric?
