I’m so, SO happy that Erin won. Her, her brother Ethan, and I have the same amazing coach, Bruce, who is like family to all of us all. We’ve practiced, bowled tournaments, and spent a lot of time together. All of Erin’s hard work, time, and dedication led her to this moment, and I can't be more proud of her. I missed the tournament last year because life threw me a curve ball, and I wish I had been able to have been there to see it in person. I can't wait to see what comes next in this great adventure!
this carter guy destroys thep ins he could beat the pros he really cranks it up a finger bowler cant get so much power but sometimes i think hespins it more then belmo and kyle troup
Great bowling by both the girls and boys! Even though bowling has changed over the years human physiology is the same. After the 300 game by Carter the adrenaline drop off effected him but he bowled great nevertheless. Congratulations Brandon! The Force is strong in the Bohn Family!

Interesting to see the preparation of Carter before he throws the ball. If you overlay each one, I don't think a single frame would be off. Routine matters!
Not that many 1-handers can compete with 2-handers in ball speed and rev rate. But Brandon Bohn is clearly one of them. On both the boys and girls side, all 4 finalists are extremely good bowlers. If this is the next crop of U.S. bowlers, Team U.S.A. is in good shape for the future.

I think O’Brien should of switch ball to something a lil shiny like a asymmetric pearl or hybrid which could of given her some angle down lane. carry down was real
This comment is in response to the anti-two handed bowler group. A long time ago, bowling balls only had 2 holes. There was no complaining when the 3 hole grip was used by all bowlers. Then came the semi-fingertip grip to get more revs. Then came the full fingertip grip for even more revs. The game was evolving and nobody complained. Then came sandpapering, weight block drilling, etc. etc. And of course, today's bowling balls are like today's high school baseball bats and all golf clubs, very well engineered. Today's bowlers, both professional and amateur, are so much better and are well coached. Many of them use 2 hands and there are no rules against it. And yes, I agree that bowlers like the young Bohns (Justin went from 1 handed to 2 handed) and young Barnes have the skills necessary to succeed on the tour. It's too bad that the money isn't there like other sports such as golf. And that's what makes it so difficult to succeed on the tour. Fortunately, these young bowlers have excellent TH-cam video channels and college educations. They will do well.
I won a usbc junior tournament of champions regional event and i felt incredible. I cant imagine how pumped these kids must be to get to this opportunity.
Why people call two hand cheat bowling not having your thumb in ball shouldnt be allowed, they do not have to deal with thumb swell thumb not coming out the same every time do to over rotation or friction it's a huge advantage on top of more revs and speed
Makes no sense, drivers have always been part of golf from the beginning, like 3 finger holes in bowling, not having thumb in ball is a huge advantage, just look at TH-cam every league is mostly 2 handed now more forgiving and higher averages there fore easier to have a more consistent release without out thumb it's my opinion I've bowled with people who barely averaged 170 converted two handed now 200 average bowlers if you have the back for it it's easier
Did you even watch the one match, guy bowling one handed had a couple shots come off hand inconsistent and cost him strikes but the two handed guy missed mark on few shots and got away with it
