- Well I've managed to reach 100 subscribers and as a special celebration I thought I'd finish the video that I've spent two years working on (My laptop broke in the middle of it and it took me a long while to get it fixed!)
Anyway, enjoy this timeless and legendary song; the Celtic Symphony!
Much love from Serbia lads and gals. Enjoy and be proud of your nation. Keep up the good work. Stay strong. Stay proud. Regards!

Especially the one's in the North of Ireland because the real RA is there
The Irish don't need a foreign support. That's the whole point of being Irish.

Basque Country is Germanic, but we don't really know where they came from, as they're different to Germanics too, but definitely they're not celts...

Thanks to gorgeous women football players I listen it every day. Love from Spain!
Same in france
Fair play the women's team. Someone remembers what it is like to not be a robot. Political correctness will erase any remaining Irish heritage.
Hilarious that a country who colonised half the world wants them to apologise for singing a song. Wankers.
Fucking true
It's not political correctness, it's conservative censorship. Like it ALWAYS IS. Bitching about "pc" culture is literally a Tory party tactic. Don't be so stupid as to fall for rightwing shit heelery
Yes exactly, they re trying to turn us all into rigid zombies .Bless all the wild wonderful alive people forever
That's what they want
I mean for fucks sakes this song isn't even about the IRA.But of course too many people, including the Irish media, just want to take the moral high ground. The orange crowd in the North are never going to apologize for the anti-Irish songs and the other hatred they spread and deliberately offending anyone who is Irish every July,so there should be absolutely no apologies or recriminations regarding the Irish soccer team or the FAI either. It is a song,so for fucks sakes let the girls celebrate their moment instead of deliberately creating negativity.
"Ooh, ah, Up the ra" is clearly about the ira bro
@@cyganskadywizjapiechoty "Ooh Aah Up The Ra" is not even the name of the song, the name of the song is "Celtic Symphony".
It is about a sailor from Glasgow who sails all over the world and one day the devil appears to him and demands that he take him to Paradise (probably meaning Celtic Park) but instead he takes him into the jungle.Along the way they see a wall with graffiti which reads "Up the Celts" and "Up the Ra". It is the only reference to the IRA in the whole song,it is not about the IRA,it is not about any conflict,it is not even about Ireland.
@@JasonRay1977 bro i know the title of the song its in the videos name
Surely alot of the UVF related songs are Rangers songs
Cant say I like this song. Come out ye Black and Tans is one of my favourites. My nan told me how the tans used to come in and steal their food down in Tip.

Ireland uses your neighbor Argentina Che Guevara as a symbol of freedom...was Pablo Escobar really like a hero to the poor?what is your personal opinion on him?
Shout-out from California. Some Mexicans still remember the Saint Patrick's Battalion and how some good, Irish Catholic boys saw what was right and helped fight the oppression of Catholics by the US.
(Canelo is also rumored to have descended from one of these men.)
Love it from Celtic land of Britanny
In the pub last night soon as the whistle went for England the whole pub were singing this hahaha
This song riles up people in Glasgow, especially when the Celtic and Rangers teams meet in the Old Firm soccer matches. No wonder it's the most dangerous rivalry in sports.

I am from Spain and I know my history. One thing is clear to me even from the distance. Ireland is not the UK, and neither is Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland is the UK, UK is short for 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'

Could someone explain what "ooh ah up the ra" means? I'm from Texas and have no clue
It means go on the Irish Republican Army. The group that liberated Ireland from the British Army.
@@seankavanagh7625 that's not quite right. It means irish football team (army)
R= Republic. A= Army
Like England cricket team sing "barmy Army"
Ireland is a Republic hence 'R' and the Ireland's football team is the 'army' hence 'A'. Many football teams sing 'Army' in their songs. Watford fc fans sing 'yellow Army'.
Wolfe Tones song is ultimately a football song with pro Irish sentiment.

The media are trying to make it into something it's not.
According to the song's author, Derek Warfield, he picked up the lyric from graffiti he saw on a wall in Glasgow. It was "Up the 'RA".
@@wm5311 RA is short for I.R.A " Irish Republican Army" it's history and the army that fought in the war in 1916. Its nothing to do with football 🤦♀️

Does my head in every single time I hear someone pronounce the word “Celts” as “Selts” or “Celtic” as “Seltic”. What’s wrong with using the correct pronunciation of the name of our ancestral tribes…?
Of course, this wrong pronunciation started over in Britain and has been continued on by their broadcast media over the decades and generations. It’s just a pity that so many Irish people have fallen for the British pronunciation…
What do “Up the Celts” and “Up the Celtic” mean? 🤔
Up the Celtics
@@SdSd.01 Okay 🥲
the Celts are a people like Slavs or Arabs or Africans so an Ethnic group and saying "up the insert your ethnic group here" is just cheering them on a celebration of their greatness lol
