All the skebetti on the cold side is why I went sIngle turbo and Dahtone DBW. way too much craziness lol awesome vid man. You were very detailed which will help out the community.
I've been watching you for quite a while now, ever since you originally did your videos for visiting U.P. Garage here in Seattle. You were part of the reason I decided on U.P. Garage. I plan to just leave most of the major work to Doug for my car, but these videos are great. Also, removing the Vin Diesel intro from the beginning is a major improvement. Keep it up!
Nice glad to hear U.P. Garage got you taken care of. Doug and Erik are amazing at what they do. You can see where Tommy Fyeah found his business model and used social media to blow up his business really quickly. Yeah one of my friends mentioned to Vin Diesel intro was not good, so I took it out. Glad to hear someone else thought so as well. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the content!💪
Tool suggestions: a magnetic parts tray and an engine stand drain pan, can get them from harbor freight. Why did you replace your factory itb's? That fitting is for your oil pressure sensor gauge. Your content helped me understand wtf that pipe was I sealed off under my intake that I couldn't figure out. Thank you
My factory ITB's were just old and UGLY. The remade in USA kit is just a refreshed factory units that look sexy. With the new turbos last summer, I figured this would be a good time to update with refreshed parts and new metal gaskets instead of oem paper ones. Thanks for the oil pressure sensor info, I figured that was what that was. Yeah, need to swing by Harbor Freight again. Glad the video helped you with the sealed pipe! 💪
It’s always easier spending other people money… if it’s all apart, just food for thought, ditch the factory cooler setup and run a Greddy/HKS oil cooler. Use a Greddy/Taarks sandwich plate to eliminate all of that mess there. Loooove the videos! I still wouldn't have the balls to do what you’re doing… good on you!! Can’t wait to see the future videos!
Thanks Tyler, yeah its a little overwhelming for sure. I am not going to lie, I have had a little anxiety with everything. But, doing the work myself is the only way I can afford to get the car done faster and for probably less than 1/2 of cost of paying UP Garage. I have never done anything like this before, so I am learning with every single video I make. I do have the comfort knowing if I get stuck somewhere, that I can call and talk to Doug or Erik for advice at UP Garage. Luckily I have made it this far without any issues. Everything has come apart very easily in my opinion with no rusted seized bots/nuts.
Hey tyler, any suggestions on how to route the oem coolant lines to bypass the now deleted factory oil cooler setup when running the taarks sandwich plate?
@@True60RS truth be told, I haven’t done this myself… however, from what I see, you’d just have to loop it with some tubing. All you’re really doing is eliminating the water going through the now nonexistent oil cooler.
Hey Josh, I’m deleting my factory oil cooler and was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to route the coolant lines that went to the factory water/oil cooler exchange unit?
I need to delete mine as well. I have not figure out exactly what I am going to do. But, I am going to most likely do the same set up as Andrew from Motive Video. I have a long way to get before I will be able to even think about this yet. Good luck with your project and your build.
@@JDMRightHandDrive thanks for the reply! I’m running the TAARKS X Greddy oil block adapter plate on my 260RS. I’ll probably just run a hose from the inlet/outlet ports on that coolant/vacuum hardline spaghetti thing
Thanks, I will do my best to create video that I would like to watch if I was trying to learn about Skyline and RB stuff. 💪 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Helps with the TH-cam analytics.
Seeing what the Nitto engines are capable off in Australia make me want to go Nitto. For the price of a HKS high response step 2 2.8 stroker kit, the Nitto seems like the better value for performance and price. Going single for the sound and for more top end. Will make turbo engine bay service much easier than twins and clean things up for me. I have had 3 sets of twins on my car. Time for something different and new content as well.

Can’t wait for the Lexus giveaway!
Maybe someday, if the channel can actually grow. lol
Great video brother! Man I need those remade itb! They look so clean
When your ready for a set and yours are ready for a refresh, you should do the install on them for your channel.
Yea man! That would be dope
Not bad . Don’t forget the bigger sump . Just by nitto or tommie oil pump
Yeah, thinking Nitto!

Just curious s what made you not select HKS stroker, and go single?
