Thanks for this tip. I recently got the treal weights for my trx4m. The rear axles were binding. I remembered this video from a while ago. Ground down the tabs and it works great.
Axle extensions and hex extensions together are awesome WITHOUT the lil spacers that come with the axle extensions, I do like how you bring this up right after we talked it shows your awesome at giving advice n are even willing to give an example of the advice 🔥👍🔥 If you do figure out why it kind of binds when turning on the axle extensions (did not have this problem with the hexs so no worries on those) plz make a video mine still kind of do it and after closely watching a few videos I noticed others have the same problem even if they think theyve fixed it lol
Thank you. I should of figured this out but it started out of the blue, no changes mind you i have made changes!! Many changes no original parts left but this never did this and just one day I seen they were loose(metal part) so thing go lose even after locktight but you have to be very careful with that on lug nut hell even just these tiny screw can break to easy for it but my rig is a really fast scx24(don't give me crap) rock bouncer so the screws would fall out 3 min into a run before I used that. Anyway I had to use on lug cuss if I tightened the wheel won't speed
Why when ever I put brass knuckles on the front it will bind if I turn the wheels and give it gas do I need to sand down the extended hexes like u where saying in this video
I would check to see if you are binding when you have the wheels off. If yes, then it could be the tolerances at the axle and bearing. If no, then you are likely too tight in your wheel nuts.
I have put the Treal brass steering knuckles on and now theres too much slop? I dont see that i need or have space for wheel weights? How was this supposed to work??😂 plz help😅

It’s hard to say without really looking at it.

This helped!
Nice! Glad we were able to help.
Injora stamped deep dish wheels have a thick center hub. Needs those barrel nuts
Indeed
How do you stop the wheel nut from backing off? Thread lock??
Some have nylon lock nuts and some are blue locktite
Are the axles on both rigs +4 extended?
Yeah. Both of those trucks are +4 axle shafts.
I was wondering why these hex hubs kept falling off any other tips on using these? I saw some comments saying to avoid these
What do you mean, fall off? They should not fall of if you have the nuts on.

We feel stupid too sometimes. Key is to learn why.
