Solution of the homework of this great video.
The function XExp(X)-Cos(X) is continuous and by trial and error I determined that the function changed its sign in several intervals such as [0,1], [-2,-1], [-5,-4], [-8,-7] and many other intervals . Since this function is continuous I concluded that its roots were located in those intervals. I used a macro of Excel and I got the following results for the interval [0,1], with a precision up to 5 decimal places.
