Does anyone else feel like they could never measure up to this message cause that’s how I felt. Honestly I felt like okay this must be the truth so started repenting then all of a sudden utterly hopeless like I could never measure up almost feeling like a zombie. the only thing that gave me hope was asking myself the question why did Jesus die ( because I could never measure up to Gods perfection) and after letting myself receive that Christ died for while I was still my sins gave so much strength as if I was thinking about how I could never measure up and realising that he took my place for me 🤷🏽‍♂️

The message is speaking about repenting from sin and divorcing from ungodly idols. Pretty straight fw biblical msg. Do not let the enemy deceive you. If you feel that you are unable to overcome a sin that has been holding you for a long time then get someone to confess it to that will keep you accountable

Condemnation comes from Satan. The Bible says "He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to lead us to righteousness. " AND It is He who works in us both to will and obey (to do ) his pleasure."
      Don't be condemned, Trust Jesus

@@lindarichards3806 uhhmm...so Jesus never taught to repent? To "go and sin no more"? Jesus never taught that there will be those that will call Him Lord but He will respond "Depart I never knew you"? Yes salvation is faith in Christ and not works. But the gospel does not teach license to sin. John Bevere never taught condemnation in this teaching. He is simply reminding the church that holiness and sanctification is taught by Christ and the apostles.

@@Kabouter911 yes of course, that part was already said. God/Jesus convicts us of our sins He gives us forgiveness when repent. He doesn't condemn us, we were already condemned by our sin. But Jesus did what only He could do to save us. What I am saying to this person is Jesus doesn't condemn us. If we allow him to He saves. Just ask forgiveness, repent, and trust Him.

    This.
God has been showing me this for the past year, and I was troubled because so few seemed to see what was becoming more and more obvious to me. I suppose God is showing many of us and we haven't been talking about it. Yet.
Thank you, John, for being obedient to share. This is confirmation to me personally, that it isn't just me who sees the problem with how we've been presenting salvation. It isn't just me who is hearing God say, "I must also be your Lord."

    Luke 12:4
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
    John Chapter 3
1There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

According to my conversations with some who have left the church, some have left actual organized religion because of the hypocrisies they see among Pastors and leaders (say one thing in the pulpit but live differently; don’t speak out against social injustices, preaching politics instead of Jesus or the Bible; making false prophecies, etc.). They left organized religion but not their relationship with Jesus.

Gods Agape love however is off the scale compared to any human love! He or she who is forgiven much and we all deserved hell, loves much.
    Love is the principle thing!!!

Oh my goodness. Here we go again. If a person believes whole heartedly when they say the sinner’s prayer why wouldn’t they become a new creation? The big answer, they are. John, I’ve followed your ministry for decades. You spent numerous time after accepting Christ leading people to Jesus while you were in college (well before you ever started that engineering job.) I read stories of the college house being upset with because you led women who would sleep with others to Christ. People tried voting you out because you had become such a new creation in the Lord. The journey started with a sinners prayer and it led to your pursuit of Jesus. Here’s the real problem, where’s the follow up with these new Christians to see where they are in their faith walk after saying a sinner’s type prayer? That’s the big issue here. No one is helping to discipline these new believers.

22:15 It sounds like the devil to me. He always tries to down play your love for the Lord. I’m glad the attack turned into something fruitful though. As far as Judas is concerned. He died because of his lack of faith. Not because he was an unforgivable sinner, or because be betrayed Jesus.
Jesus called him a man destined for destruction, that it would have been better if he hadn’t been born (Mark 14:21). He also told the gentile woman that he didn’t come for the dogs(Matt 15:24-26) then healed her because of her faith. He even forgave Peter for betraying him 3 times. After seeing everything the Lord did for me in my life? I can bet my soul that if Judas held on. Jesus would have appeared to Judas first. Our Lord told him three times that he must die. That he needed to be betrayed. That he will rise again. That he came for the sinners. How quickly we forget the works of our Lord…
Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.”

Define sins! As i understand the gospel jesus took away the sins of the WORLD - putting them behind the back of god never ( ? Never) to see them again ! Jesus did that of his own volition -- it was gods will to remove the blockade etween him and humanity! Therefore !! Repentance could only mean one thing -- repent of your unbelief! Not nasty nine or dirty dozen! Ah theres a rub! Yes judged in context under the law not under grace ! It is the spirit of god that teaches us to say no to sin and changes our nature! Lets not be fooled - its all jesus none of us les any man boast that he turned himself !! The only thing anyone can do is turn from unbelief ro belief in jesus -- beyond that god said if they went out from us they never were a part of us-- walk away from god? Not possible... Unless you never knew him! Why because it is said i jesus will never leave you or forsake you!! Hm? 2nd peter c1v3&4 on to vs 5-11. Only saying that you will not stumble! Not backslide! Again scipture speaks of the ones that departed never were repentent! Study people fear comes not as part of the gospel or good news...

The Lord gave me this prophecy as a warning to the church:
Hear what he says of Covid, I have brought this to the church to shake the church and cause them to rethink the whole model of church, and what emerges will be led by my Holy Spirit. Where this is not the case my blessing will not be present and without the Spirit their church will grow limp and die. Like a vine that has been cut at the root they will wither and die. This is a prophecy of the Lord. Mark this well.

"And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:",
But why did you quote that instead of the whole chapter which explains what is being talked about? Did you maybe mean the mention of the word wind? That word means just that wind. Not pnuema. did you mean the earthquakes? I am not sure what you are talking about. 9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Jeremiah 8: 8 How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. 9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?
      That is not true!
Matthew 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. @@lauratempestini5719 okay , so , first off the verses you quoted from Isaiah 28 is talking about those who are still in the milk of God's Word. And is saying that they have not learned The Bible precept upon precept and line on line. And as for the rest of it, you need to go back to the subject it's talking about. You are listing verses from where they are saying in Mathew 5:30 you have to read the whole chapter to know what it is talking about. You have to close your flesh eyes and open up your spiritual eyes. When it says there to cut off the arm and pluck out the eye, it is talking about the whole family of God And Jesus Christ some people are the eye they watch for signs and some people are the mouth they teach the word of God and some people are the feet they walk the walk and teach . And some people are and arm and they can put the hammer down if may be, but it's saying there that if one of those people offend you , just cut them off from you, and go about your business serving God , you know, a house divided will not stand. So it's best to get rid of trouble to where by it does not prevent you from serving God And Jesus Christ. Now where you quote James 2. Yeah faith without works means nothing be side if all you do is believe that your going to get something or do something and don't put any effort into getting it or making it then yeah there is no results in that. But at the same time faith is to walk by faith and not by sight. Putting all your trust in God And Jesus Christ and not anything man. However what is your point?
      James chapter 2:26
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
What are you trying to point out? That you have no faith in ALL of God's Word? God wrote that letter to you. And appointed Paul to write. How is it then that you don't believe that all of God's Word aligns? Do you also believe that Eve ate and apple and that you have wings? Not so.

He states his opinion of Jesus as though its fact, its just his opinion. is it Gods opinion ? No.

As do you. Consider what he is saying. Discern what's true

    4:01 $2.5 mil app (Messengerx?)
    4:45 he's "a little" concerned
5:01 Barna study 50% "no longer practicing"; 46 mil; 23 mil athesist etc
    •"a little concerned"?
•I don't think he goes into 2Cr11:13-15 @ all; "ministers of righteousness"
14:45 hits on the sinners prayer
21:15 "I was shown the 4 spiritual laws. There wasn't one word about repentance"
•Doesn't really practically describe what exactly "repenting" entails. Repenting of all sins? Known or unknown? How much does one have to repent of initially to be saved? Idt he goes into that at all
    23:45 "judas is in hell"
36 :01 "I want to protect you from a legalistic type of thinking.."
36:45 Brings up a very hypothetical scenario; miscites heb13:3
•Theres not very much scripture; but it's scripture this church has probably ly never heard and look @ how big $ it is
43:45 hits little bit on sports and homosexuality; just a word
44:45 hits on money$ idol; "for some of you it may not be $"; I doubt that strongly
45:01 "an idol is anything that you love more than Jesus"
46:01 uses rich ruler as exmp; "Jesus never uses the blessings to entice ppl to obey Him"
46:40 "felix was frightened"; good ref
    48:01 "God spoke to me.."
    53:45 starts preaching here; mt7:21-23
54:40 gives his def of law vs grace
55:50 speaks of a vision of the lost; confessing Christians told to "depart from Me"
59:10 "it's what we're not saying. We're shrinking back from all God wants His people to know"
    1:04:45 "I'm so proud of you" x's
1:06:50 "the presence of God just manifested"; "theres His presence right there". "All you've done is repent", but hsve they
•Very emotional feeling driven. Mormons will claim they have that presence as well. Is that feeling what we should be really going for?
•"I will manifest Myself to you"; what dies that really mean. Maybe it's similar to the pentecostal experi but this is heavy emotional light on word

I'm shocked at the applause after showing Knock Off Jesus. It was blasphemy, mockery and heartbreaking. I cannot comprehend this being funny. Where is the fear/ reverence of God you preach. I'm sick. You cannot unsee this mess. You lost me at the 2nd video. Didn't finish and won't watch any more. I don't apologize. Where is the we should hate sin when we make light of it and turn it into a laugh. You just lost me. I'm not angry or a religious critic. This was just not appropriate or funny.

John, you should read the parable of the Sower again. 4 heard the message, 1 rejected, 2 didn't remain, and only 1 lasted.
However, you kind of sound self-righteous to me. You remind me of the Pharisees that criticized the Lord Jesus for eating & drinking with sinners.

Surly the motivation is love and not brow beating! Even in natural relationships love (and I'm not talking about Agape love) is the glue that holds the two together.
Gods Agape love however is off the scale compared to any human love! He or she who is forgiven much and we all deserved hell, loves much.
    Love is the principle thing!!!
