Cezar's linked in shows he worked on Shadow of the Tomb Raider's challenge tombs, which were the best part of that game, very excellent in deed. He also worked on the enemies and bosses for Marvel's Avengers, a game I have not played, but I feel this Lords of the Fallen is in good hands with somebody who has great level and enemy design experience.
I love the original game. This looks great for fans of FromSoft's games (including myself), but the original deserves a lot more love --- I like the way it plays, which is different from Souls standards given its focus on combos, and the level designs were excellent. The sound design was also great, especially that main menu theme music, absolutely brilliant.
Same here. I remember virtually nothing about the original game's story. I even forgot that the main character's name was Harkin until this video. I might replay it before the reboot comes out.
@@skootdiggity1301 I think it's a really good story. I like all the diary entries you pick up, they are very well voiced and tell of a very dark world indeed. It was curious that the creative director here would say that the thing he wanted to change about the game was to bring immersion into this reboot/sequel through having rooms that tell their own stories. I actually think this is something the first game already does very well, the citadel and its catacombs are filled with interesting rooms and hidden narratives that intelligent players can piece together.
I Love how the Devs are masculine males. I love how this game feels perfect for heterosexual sigma males. I love how it dosnt coddle the player and hold their hand. I love how the male characters are masculine, like me. I can finally connect again to my character. Thank you HexWorks and Devs.
I adore environmental story telling. So glad it looks to be everywhere in this game. I can't wait for Starfield for the same reason. Bethesda games always have it in spades. Great interview guys.
This game is really excellent.. i loved eldenring but not that much.. ( boss ,ost , enemis design i didnt like) Lords of fallen is intimidating, oppressant, The armors in this game are really top class
Sorry..the game is not brutal at all..the devs just found an easy way trying to make the game difficult for players by adding more enemies/ranged enemies in one room.. But the game is good..enjoying it so far.
Never seeing some game companie trying soo hard to copy everything that the hidetaka miyazaki games, plagiarism at it best. Just change the name of the game to dark souls 4. I despise those who try to take credit for the work of others.
I will wait for the digital foundrys review. I dont trust the devs. Lumen and nanite on console?? Must be the next 540p "next gen" game. DO NOT PREORDER!!!!
looking back at your comment, you were dam right. The game stutters were everywhere when it was released. They had to cut them all in the patches to maintain frame rate. I wonder if the devs knew about it at this moment but decided to bluff it.
I'm sure they are thrilled at the idea of hiring someone who made video thumbnails showing "Lords of the Fallen EXPOSED ITSELF" and another that says "Lords of the Fallen REDEEMED ITSELF" in a video that's uploaded a day after. Guy's a clown.
Dude it’s using the full unreal engine 5 feature set of ray tracing including global illumination lighting, nanite, and lumen while running 60fps @ 1080p and it’s gonna look very good on PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X and if you’re on pc you need rtx 2080 minimum for 1080p 30fps so it’s a very heavy next gen game as far as graphics so it is what it is
@@draco2xx 1080p can look good depending on the graphical assets, texture quality, etc but it’s hard going back down that low when the last generation Xbox one X was already doing native 4k 30fps in almost every game including open world titles and now somehow we’ve dropped resolutions down 4x and in some cases all the way more than that into the 720p area as that’s absurd and there’s something definitely wrong with that and it’s not the new hardware that’s the problem as that is all on the devs
@HaloinfiniteEternal with next gen power consoles idk why its so hard to target 1440p 60fps especially for a linear game, the game devs are so incompetent
You can see the passion they have for this game. Good ol Euro devs.

Cezar also is a hardcore Soulsborne fan. Back in 2018 he used to stream on twitch.

4k 30 fps and 1080p 60 fps
The game runs just fine
If not better than Elden Ring

Oh Cesar, you know how to sweet talk me into buying a game.
i hope it succeeds and is very difficult like dark the souls series
I'm sorry guys, but I actually liked the original Lords of the Fallen.
Yes ! Me too. It deserve more love. :)
Triple A?
isnt this studio an indie studio?
they use to
No, they are fully owned by CI Games.
Hey Cezar you need to hire Jeenine as a PVP consultant.
Well guess what :)
Ye i mean what about the game runing on 720 p upscalled to 1080 p 6p fps thats a joke not even naitive 1080p
