    I have light scratches on My Moto g pure touchscreen they're not deep tho, the screen is glass. I will try using glass polish I don't if it's going to work or not, Glass polish has cerium oxide on it.

    What about the oleophobic coating of the phone? Do you apply any ceramic coating afterwards?

    • @KWHMirkaLtd
      @KWHMirkaLtd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, an oleophobic coating needs to be applied after the Remint process.

    Hi What is the machine used to measure the depth of the scratches.

    • @AsiandOOd
      @AsiandOOd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      a height gage but u need a flat granite surface for it to actually matter. if u r not sure, get finer ones and do it more instead of buying coarser ones and mess it up.

    • @KWHMirkaLtd

      Hi,
      Thank you for your comment! A profilometer is used to find out how deep the scratch is on the phone.

    I purchased this and very costly. The compounds and copper pads are very expensive and do not remove deep scratches. When you polish in two steps does not polish the entire glass. If you leave a tiny bit un polish the image is not clear on the screen. You will consume a lot more compound per phone than what they say. Also you will need to re apply the oleophobic coating again, which is not easy to buy. While the concept is good they have to come up with a machine and not do this by hand.

    Just call Verizon they will send a guy to your house and replace your screen for $29!!!! Then put a blue light screen protector on it. Problem solved.

    "... and the phone is back to mint condition". This is a iPhone 6 or 7, and not water proof. After all the water and polishing compound you press into the speaker and home button, I'm not so sure that this phone is 100% healthy.

    • @KWHMirkaLtd
      @KWHMirkaLtd  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Very true! Sorry for being unclear. Before starting the process you need to make sure that the unit is water-proof and seal any critical openings.

      @@KWHMirkaLtd which you actually did mention that in the subtitles in this video 🤷🏼‍♀️. Not sure if it’s been updated since this comment, but I understood that you would definitely need to make sure of waterproofing.
