Instead of the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement they should add a stunt and horror category.

no cause that and a voice acting category?? like that would be so cool!! so many good adult animated shows (not you Rick and Morty) like invincible, the new one on netflix Carol and the end of the world. or the voice acting from the animated movies as well!!
So happy 'The Boy and the Heron' got some love last night. 1 of my favorite films of the year! 🪽
Me too, I thought they will give it to Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, but glad that the Boy and Heron won this.
As I glad that Suzumi got chance too.
Spiderverse was robbed
At this point I think it's kind of clear that Oppenheimer will sweep a bunch of categories. There are still for sure some categories that are in contention with each other between two films or actors in this case. Animated will be interesting to see how Heron and Spider-verse compete. I think Heron could upset but we'll have to see.
Very happy with all the love for Oppenheimer and The Holdovers.

Oppenheimer is overrated, but I also enjoyed The Holdovers success.

Personally, I loved the Boy and the Heron. So, I'm glad it won Best Animated Film instead of going the popular route like Spider-verse. Also, I do feel kinda bad for Jo Koy. I ain't gonna fault him too much. Definitely shouldn't have blamed the writers but still, he was chosen last minute within 8 days to prepare. And a lot of people kept saying how intimidating it was to be in that room last night. So, I'll let it slide. Other than the unfunny jokes, surprisingly a lot of great wins all throughout the night in my opinion. Let's go Poor Things!
Amy Schumer’s short clip for the nomination was 10 times funnier than anything Jo Koy said in the monologue. YIKES.
The Boy and the Heron deserved that win.

Not a great night for cinema overall, but a good night for Poor Things and The Holdovers, my two favorite Oscar movies.
As a Succession fan last night was amazing. Ma boi Roman finally got his due!
I was real happy with how the Golden Globes came out last night.
While I do agree Jo Koy wasn't giving his best stuff last night, I won't entirely fault him for it since he was only given 8 days to prepare as host, while others in the past would have been given 2 months in advance.
Plus, he seemed like he was having such a great time and I can't get mad at that! Plus, some of his jokes landed better than Jerrod's were supposed to the previous year.
But that's just me.

As someone who hasn't seen Anatomy of a Fall, I thought the screenplay win was fire
I think GG did a better job picking the best in each category. Increasing from under 100 to over 300 helped reduced outliers and votes just for star power. Congrats to BP winners Oppenheimer/Nolan/RDJ/Cillian and Poor Things/Emma. Also glad to see some love for The Holdovers.
Elizabeth Debicki was the clear winner in her group. Glad she won, was born to play that role of Diana.

also would like to add im so happy the boy and the heron won!! so insane how it's Miyazaki's first golden globe win! (and Kieran Culkin + succession, literally stood up and started clapping like i was in the audience)

Could you put a subtitle everytime you mention a movie or show? You just put a picture in the corner, but if you haven’t seen it, it's hard to tell who won.

I was genuinely surprised that Anatomy of a Fall took screenplay over Past Lives. I thought this is slam dunk Past Lives actually given its nominations and no-wins in all those categories. Screenplay would be the most realistic.
Happy with Anatomy Of A Fall & The Boy And The Heron wins 👏🏻👏🏻🎉 and wish Godzilla Minus One was nominated. It would've made its way to the Best Picture/Best Visuals categories for sure.

I’m very happy that poor things took 2 major globes, I love the cast, the score, the production design, the locations, the makeup and hairstyling and of course the story, Giorgos Lanthimos makes me very proud because his a fellow countryman and represents of what people no matter where they come are capable bravo, a lots of bravos!
I was rooting for Danielle Brooks to win for Best Supporting Actress because she was able to be so funny yet tragic. I'm extremely happy that Da'Vine Joy Randolph won though, she was amazing in The Holdovers. Pretty much everyone that I wanted to win did receive an award, so I'm happy
glad oppenheimer won and barbie didn't win a ridiculous amount, the wrong barbie song won tho. Haven't seen Anatomy but would have been nice for Past Lives to win something

I feel bad for Jokoy. I like his standup but he was pretty much setup to fail. Hired last minute and Hollywood isn’t really his target audience. Now everyone especially Swifties want to crap on him. Let’s be real, not ANYONE would do a better job hosting. It’s probably a lot harder than we think… Anyways, the Golden Globes pretty much went as predicted except for a few surprises. Happy for Anatomy of a Fall and for Justine Triet.
I’m not a big fan of Jokoy’s comedy but I agree I kinda feel bad for him with how much he’s getting dunked on the internet.
When I watched the full thing I thought it wasn’t too bad. But yea wasn’t great either, tough gig for sure!
I would’ve felt bad for him if he wasn’t being a jerk about it. He came off as very unlikable though.

I like Taylor but I feel that joke was really tame and more at the NFL and kind of funny. I thought the Barbie joke was more at Hollywood casting hot people. It wasent the best jokes but I’ve seen Amy Schumer host the Oscars

I'm fairly mad that Spiderverse didn't win
as somebody who's favorite movie was spiderverse and genuinley thinks its the best movie of the year i was kinda sad, liked oppenheimer, barbie, and the bear tho.

I feel like Barbie was snubbed in all the big categories and given the cinematic and box office award only because the GG’s realized they didn’t give them anything. I was hoping Greta would win best director, but I understand how this is Christopher Nolan’s moment and Greta will have her moment soon.

I hope Spiderverse wins Best Animated Feature at the Critics Choice Awards next week. I was annoyed that it lost the Globe. My favorite film from last year.

I don't agree with animation choice they have got too trapped in diversity due to their past history, Also my finger crossed for Oscar best picture I want holdovers, it is tough to beat oppenheimer mania but Oscar may split award, give best director to nolan and movie to holdover,
