    MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: How do you have internet at your cabins? A: I have cell service at both cabins but it is spotty due to foliage and cloud cover. I can access the internet from my cabins but have to drive to a local wifi location to upload videos.
Q: How old is Frankie? A: Frankie will be 10 in April of 2018
Q: What video editing software do I use? A: Presently, all I use is Windows Live Movie maker but I’m considering trying imovie, Adobe Elements or SONY VEGAS PRO.
Q: How do you get your water? Did you dig a well? A: Presently, I haul water to the NY cabin but at the NH cabin, I drop a kettle into an old well that was dug by hand by the settlers in the 1700’s.
Q:What is your favorite brand of cast iron cookware? A: I prefer using vintage cast iron. My favorites are BSR and Griswold. If I had to buy new I would buy a Lodge Brand. I plan to purchase this dutch oven in the future:
Q: What do you use for refrigeration? A: We have a small gas refrigerator that we salvaged from an old Shasta camper and a custom icebox that I built into the cabin wall. We make ice on site with a propane freezer.
    Video of icebox:
    Video of Gas Refrigerator:
    Propane Freezer:
Q: What do you use for cooking and heating? A: We use a Kitchen Queen 380 for cooking and heating during the winter months but we also have an antique gas stove in the cabin for when we don't need the heat from the KQ.

I'm mid way through marathon-ing all your videos and I just want t o say all of them have left me with at least one thing if not more that I've found to be useful, helpful, and inspirational to me. My dream is similar, and you've brought me more hope that it can be done than any other site or video or direction.
About your rocket stove it is the first video or instruction on this that has made sense and looks affordable, doable and possibly more economical than my current situation.

1994abbygirl This perfectionism is sometimes more of a curse than a blessing. I just finished making an intro for a new series I'll be starting. The intro is 27 seconds long but it took me 5 hours to piece together. I'm a sick man Abbygirl. It came out good though. I'm anxious to start that series. The rocket stove is really cool and works great. I love it.Have a great day my friend.

Thanks!

drywall corner bead makes a good pot holder/wind break because the stuff is stiff and has holes for the smoke to escape. Just make cuts with snips every 2 inches on one side and you can bend it around in a circle.

Hi. Just a quick tip. For better burn it would be good to have some sort of shelf at the opening where you feed in the wood like some other rocket stoves do. This would allow air into the burn area. Also if you made a lose fitting skirt that goes around the size pot you intend to use to get the heat around the sides of your pot. Good luck. Whish you the best. Jason, Waiheke , Aotearoa nz

Great vid. Have you ever seen the "rolled top beer can stove"? I've made a few and they work great. Small enough to fit in your pocket and boiled water in under 5 minutes. Only draw-back is the gas-line anti-freeze fuel. Plus side is it all fits in a tin mug. Great for a mug-up in the middle of no wheres. Keep the videos coming and us home-bound folks happy. Kudos on the concept!
A couple things that you can do with the exact same parts.
    1) Use the cut out pieces for a foundation at the bottom of the burn chamber for added resistance to a burn by sliding one to the bottom then adding an inch of sand, and then the second one onto the sand. This would work best if when being cut, they were nearly exactly the same size as the galvanized section.
    2) Your U bolts were brilliant - but nothing says you can't turn them upside down to use - there by lowering OR even making adjustable the height of the "grate" you're replacing with them.
My hats off to you - PLEASE keep these wonderful ideas coming and your channel viewers will be ready for anything!!!

Gave this design a go today. Used a stock pot as well but couldnt find the T you had so I pieced together some ducting and an old coffee can as my feed tube on the side. Havnt fixed up the lid yet but I gave it a test fire and seemed to draw great. Thanks for another great video.

Thanks Boss. I never seen one built like this before. Pretty cool. I work for Metro North Railroad and I bring my rocket stove to work on occasion. Being out on the railroad right away to just need a handful of sticks is awesome. Place a pre-made pot of hamburg soup or chicken vegetables soup or a flat griddle for hamburgers & hotdogs. Bam 15 minutes later and you're eating like a champ. Sometimes I bring my solar oven. Set it up when I get to the job site with hotdogs in a black pot. A can of chili & a jar onions. Bam lunch time the boys and I are feasting. Fun stuff Boss. Thanks again for commenting this video to watch. Best wishes brother...

I had a funny moment with this one, when you post a video I get a notification on my phone and it didn't show the whole title, it left off the "stove part". I pictured you and Frankie in space suits and moon boots. The stove was a cool build too :)
