    Learning to work with the variations in systems that come up is so helpful. Sometimes if a new presentation of a part arises, it can stump one initially. These examples give ideas about many creative responses.

    I havent read about "guide" in IFS books. could you explain how to identify them? could they be a "self like " part too?

      In case you haven't found this already on your own, check out "The Others Within Us" by Robert Falconer. It explains Unattached Burdens, guides, etc.
