Im' now 54yrs old, and use to wake up to this and many more, "Myra English", is just another, Lady's of Hawaiian Music, I consider them all falling in the class of "ROYALTY". Each with their own style, and god gifted voices for the world to enjoy. My mom had her music playing early morning, telling me to "get up" fix your bed, and clean the yard!!!! sound familiar any brudda's out there? Thx for posting, her voice and my mom come into play automatically, and I love it. loss my Mom 1985.
I so miss Aunty Genoa. She was a staple of my childhood on Oahu. Just hearing her voice causes me to tear up because the memory is deeply embedded.
Oh my God, Aunty Genoa is so precious. God bless her soul. 😢
❤❤ALOHA ANUTY GENOA 🎉🎉❤
I love these jams under the tree, Auntie Genoa and Kamaka! Thankyou so much.
Aunty Genoa will always be the best. I still love her music till this day.
What a duet! Love Aunty Genoa and Kamaka! :) So good together! :)
OMG! I love this song! I use to dance hula to this song when I was with a halau. I miss hula. I miss Hawaii.

Love this! Mahalo for sharing!
THANKS so much for this!!!
The music of aloha. The voices of angels.
@MrPaka420-Crazy! My Grandma would have Aunty Genoa playing every morning, bass loud on her stereo & when my sister and I would spend the night, we'd wake up to Aunty's voice and my Grandma telling us to get up & make our beds, come have breakfast! We'd enjoy Aunty Genoa until we were ready to leave the house. So funny, you too!
This is great, of course, with Kamaka and Aunty Genoa and Pōmaikaʻi etc. But I never understand why so many video editors of hula and Hawaiian music like to put useless shots of things like the underside of tree limbs and beach scenes into music videos like this, especially when those things have absolutely nothing to do with the song. Hoʻonāukiuki maoli.
LOVE
Love u both very much 😘
