Don't know how you were able to record this but thank you. Security was on me like white on rice whenever I took my phone out

Thanks man, my camera has a view finder so I don’t have a screen attracting any attention. But my friend said a redcoat was starring at me st the end right before I put it away ha

i noticed a bunch of YT carnegie vids that were up yesterday are now gone. security didn't seem nearly as tight at the ryman....plenty of vid's still up. in this day and age, they need to chill out...

@@MFrazier55 Thanks Man for recording this. I've played with M. Cleveland in past video on my channel. I'm sure he was blown away by this.

@@CorneiliusLibowitz I can tell you for a fact most musicians me included, we don't give shit if the public records us. Actually it's an honor. I know Cleveland ( Fiddle) personally and he could care less if some fan records him in performance . I don't know why venues or managers and You Tube have to be such d***s

@@RURALELECTRICBAND Agreed. it worked for the Dead, before there was a such thing as cell phones....and they practically encouraged it. Nowadays, everyone has a portable recording device, and you know as well as i do (and i'm not a musician), the more vids out there, the more recognition and exposure you guys get.... Almost no one would ever hear of Michael Cleveland, BMFS, Molly and all the rest without all the YT vids out there... And i don't get YT blocking the music reactor vid's either... That gives you even more exposure... And it's pretty sad, with the exception of Bela Fleck, they're all still pretty obscure and mostly unknown to the masses.... The ONLY notable artist i can think of offhand who was against being recorded was Frank Zappa.... He's probably rolling in his grave seeing all the recording going on now!

Tony was Bela’s banjo teacher way back when.

@@dunebillyofswanbeach4294 Not only his teacher, but his inspiration, his mentor, and his muse. Bela has frequently been quoted as saying "Had it not been for Tony Trischka, my own musical career would have been nothing. For the first 10 years of my musical life, all I ever wanted to do is to BE TONY TRISCHKA." High praise indeed! I personally have known and listened to Tony for 57+ years, and am continuously and repeatedly astounded by his skills.

@@RickRiman I’ve also followed Tony in his different configurations for the past 50 years. I can’t support your contention strongly enough. So many great players have passed through his bands. My supposition is that if it had not been for Trischka’s influence on Bela during his early development then the Flecktones may have never have come about.
