Hell yeah. Thanks for making this video, Dave. I f*cking love Up Garage. That's gonna be my second stop whenever I get to Japan, only after the dealership hahaha!

+Arthur Sperotto Trust me, its a huge let down!!!
Best place to check out for car stuff in JP is 5Mart and the various auto tuners in and around Osaka.

I got an alternate offer from the JET Programme... Hopefully I will be upgraded! One big aspect of me coming to Japan was to experience this, along with the car culture in Japan. So this video, to me, is really nice! Thanks, and I hope you're having a good time with your friend over, Dave :)!

Cool! I didn't realize that UP Garage was a second hand shop. I used to go to a Second hand Autobacs, but they closed the shop. I'll have to check them out!

The parts are cheaper there, but would they be street legal here in the US and in Canada? I think back in the 90s, the Civic had slightly different engine parts then here in the US, which made them easier to tune, '94-96 Civics. Thanks for posting.

    Up Garage ships to Canada.
Not as great as they once were but cheap for wheel/tire combo's.
Some of there used items are nearly as expensive as new.
There's also Autobac's but they mostly sell stereo's, alarms and cheepo accessories.

aaargh!! its such a pain where i am at to just simply buy a spare tire, you would think that should not be hard, but wherever i go to they say "we don't sell them anymore" I'm not a huge car fan but I would like a store i could just go to and get whatever i want for my car.. it does need work sadly.

Your able to apply new rims , pipes and interior parts by your self? I thought there was rules on working on cars by your self.

You should be, it's not that difficult. Rims you'd only need the machine to place the tires, but anything else you can do in your own garage diy style
