This got me to thinking about relocating my 6 spd overdrive toggle switch from my dash (a long reach for me) to the metal crossbar on the steering wheel for convenience. Thanks for showing how to access the wiring bundle in the column.

Surprised they built it like that! For me I never use the tilt so it wouldn’t matter but for many they use the tilt getting in and out and for them this should be done right away. Only a matter of time and depending on the wire that goes it could be costly if you don’t do this!

Another great video Kevin, on my Voyage 35L I was having trouble with driver seat had no control was working as far as adjusting the seat, I checked the fuse and was good, check the power to the seat and had 12 volts but would not work, I added another ground wire from the seat pedestal to a suitable ground and worked fine, so I have a bad ground but I have searched and unable to find it. Do you have a clue where to start looking, everything else on the RV works fine. STUMPED

Go Here www.winnebago.com/Files/Files/Winnebago/Resources/Diagram/Wiring.htm look at the help pdf first to understand how to use the wiring pdf for your model you should be able to locate the ground wire from there. let me know what you find out .. 606-875-0125 Kevin

Hi Kevin! We just got back with our W22 yesterday after a 4 week trip through Florida... Before we left home, I completely went through our 1100 hour generator (same 5500 as yours - it ran fine but was hard to start). I adjusted the valves, changed oil, plugs, new air filter, new fuel filter, installed a NEW OE Cummins fuel pump and Cummins carburetor. I then put the generator on the Hz meter and adjusted it accordingly. After done, it started immediately every time and ran like a champ (thank you to your videos)! We spent 7 days at Beverly Beach Campground (if never been, you park ON a 10 foot wall that is right on the beach). While there, daily we were hit daily with torrential rainfalls, blowing sands, and 40+mph winds. (Keep in mind, when we camp, we like the inside the of the motorhome to be 65 degrees; we love it cold and it gets freezing cold on 100 degree days; it will get down to 65 inside). When we were ready to leave, I went to start the generator. It would start, then stop immediately. It did this every attempt and would not stay running. It then gave a code of 37 (something about the carb - there was nothing wrong with the carb that was on it, I just wanted to have a new carb for the upcoming trip). I was not in the mood to deal with it so we left and only had the dash AC to use. As we left, it started downpouring. I tried a couple more times as we were leaving and the gen still would not stay running. We drove about 2 hours in the downpouring rain when my wife asked me to try the gen again... It started right up and has not acted up again since. What could have been the issue? Could the rainwater have washed off sand (the motorhome was COVERED in sand when we left)?
