    I spent my weekends and holidays working at my local race course when I was a teenager; taking care of horses, cleaning the grounds & stables, setting up for functions, sometimes even a few receptionist type duties.. it was hard to get up at 3 am as a 15 yr old to work from 4.30am to 1.30 pm but it was totally worth it at $17 an hour for my first ever job. I later got another job through that first one, where I was assisting at a pony club, teaching kids to ride & care for horses, it didn't pay as much, but I loved it 😄

That doesn't include overtime which can easily put me around 200,000$ or more. Time and a half after 40 hours and double time over 60 hours as well as Sundays and holidays.

    masonry work is an amazing field, most construction companies are doing concrete walls made to look like brick, stone, or block work but there are still billions of old buildings out there that need maintenance, with the construction industry training few to no new people to lay brick, block, and stone (not to mention maintenance tasks like tuck-pointing), this is a career path with a skyrocketing pay rate because there is little to no competition to drive the prices lower.

    I regularly check my paystub to make sure I really work for Walmart. It's more than I made working at the US Post Office.

    I lived in a rual area at the time, and age isn't really an issue with this job. I worked as a farmhand at 15 and was payed varying amounts depending on the job. I could be payed to feed livestock for $20-$30 per day, which didn't require much effort or physical strength. However, a much better job would be baling and moving hay bales. The job was simply riding on a trailer behind a baler while stacking square hay bales. Each hay trailer could hold about 100 bales, but each bale could weigh from 40-60 pounds depending on the type of grass. The job was quite intensive obviously, however the pay was great. Each trailer stacked and loaded in a barn loft meant normally around $50 in your pocket. Due to the physical exertion and sweltering heat, the amount of wagons stacked was dependent simply on how much you could do. I personally was able to continue working until the farmer I worked for got too hot and just called it a day, which was normally 3-4 wagons. This meant I came home with $150-$200 every day we went out to work, plus the job kept me in great shape.

Now unless your referencing a certain state, in my state currently to become an embalmer you must have at least a 2 year associates degree as well as a state license of certification which is earned through a state timed test. Requirements may have changed over time or maybe different in other states but those are the requirements in my state and have been since the 90s

      @Sic Semper Tyrannis I am purely speaking to this based on first-hand experience - It is very possible for a small pool of outliers gifted with certain talents, knowledge, very strong persistence and abilities which make the impossibly difficult look like a Sunday drive. I've seen this at a higher rate in the IT field, yet it's kept hush hush as sort of an unspoken code amongst coders. When we make our jobs look easy => management staff initiates the inevitable: we're replaced by a lower earning junior or sophomore, and quickly can it happen.

    For anesthesiologists, additional grit: your patients’ lives are hanging on a thread, based on the patient and the sedative required for the procedure. Also the malpractice in our ultra litigious society.

    • @hsharma3933
      @hsharma3933 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Behavior & Handwriting Reveal the Truth it depends on what type of procedure is being performed. If its routine or outpatient, this is the case, but for serious surgeries, its generally an actual anesthesiologist, or even 2-3 in a single operation. Depends on how many variables. We had CRNAs in the doctors office i worked in, and if there was a patient they anticipated would have complications, there was at least one to two actual anesthesiologists in the patient's room during the procedure.

    The first job, Railroad conductor, is what I'm currently pursuing. Contrary to what is claimed here, railroading is NOT a dying industry, it is in fact the primary method of moving freight within the United States and Canada. Most of the products in your house was transported by train at some point. Also, there are also many different local, and quite large railroad companies to work for, while the top companies bring in tens of millions of dollars. This video is not wrong in that its a surprisingly high paying position, but it gets those facts wrong here.

    My cousin donated eggs several times. She didn't see it as an ethical dilemma at all. She was giving couples, who otherwise wouldn't have had the chance, the opportunity to have a family. Some couple used her eggs to have more then one baby, making them blood siblings. She paid for Uni and families were created, everyone was happy.

    Let me clear up "Fire Fighting". IF you live in Northern or Southern California in a larger city area then yes the pay scale is well above 6 figure's BUT it is VERY difficult to get a job due to how competitive it is. Other states (Like Texas & New York starting can be as low as $40K) Minimum you need to take fire technology classes, State FF1 Cert & EMT- Basic (Both 5 unit/One-semester class). Then you will be eligible to join (if you even have the option) a volunteer/combo dept. to get some experience. In Cali, it is almost standard for Engine's & Truck Co's to be ALS (Advanced Life Support) which means you will need to go to Medic school. It is typically broken into 4 semesters / 48-52 units: S1 18 units & S2 16 units for 9 months of the classroom, minimum 18 hours a week. After finishing that & tests you go to S3. A hospital to do clinical (About 325-350 Hr's) and then to the field to do your internship on an ambulance under a preceptor. Min 700-ish hour's to a max 925 hours where they decide if they are going to fail you. If you complete that you then have to pass all national registry testing. Typically it is 2 year's... there are express programs but are not many because the failure rate is too high. Most programs require a minimum of 2000+ Hours of 911 experience. After all that you can apply to FD's and have fun in backgrounds! 😂Becoming a cop is MUCH easier just sayin.

    You can easily clear $100,000 a year with the right company. Right now I'm working 10 to 12 hours a day (overtime after 8 hours), home every night, weekends off, earning $21/h, but after 4 years here I'll make $41/h.
    UPS is pretty great if you can stick with it or get some luck on your side.
