      The news teams did a horrible job of explaining what happened. This man was basically attacked by these cops for the crime of not giving his name. He showed the lady cop that it wasn't a weapon and went to move on and she refused. Then he asked to speak with a sergeant and that idiot comes out and says let's take him. And then they gloat when they take out his license. Both cops need to be fired and the dept needs to pay big time so that this never happens again.

The crazy bitch who chased me did so with a 1 year old in her car ( which I didn’t know about). For this I was arrested, the police lied about me making a statement ( a right I was denied). I got booked and had to post 2500 bond to get out of jail. Then I spent the next 3 months with the sword of Damocles over my head. They hit me for 2 years probation and took my permit and my gun. I accepted the ARD offer cause I didn’t have the money to take it to trial. Slow I ended up with 2 years probation cause I was chased down. May the crazy bitch chase the wrong person one day and may the cops try to arrest someone with enough money to destroy them one day. The sad reality is that lying is an integral part of policing these days. Cops were allowed to lie during interrogations, and that led to them feeling allowed to lie in ALL aspects of doing their job.
      How much criminality and abuse of citizens' civil rights must occur before real action is taken to REFORM police departments in the USA? When will fascist Republicans get out of the way and allow this reform to occur?
      Higher standards & vetting of police candidates. Higher pay. Better training and police education. Impose real accountability for unethical and criminal behavior by police.
      Lawsuit payouts taken from police pension funds, not from taxpayers' pockets. Police will start "policing" each other vs covering up for each other's bad behavior. Neutralize police "unions" aka criminal KKK syndicate protecting criminal cops.
      Have police forces represent their communities with a diverse force. Hold regular community - police meetings where concerns can be discussed and they can feel like they are on the same team instead of opposing forces.
      Help good, honest, brave police officers do their job without pressure to uphold the"thin blue line" of corruption. Restore dignity and respect to the profession.
      These are not unattainable goals. They aren't that difficult! Blindly paying out lawsuits with taxpayer $$, relocating bad cops and wiping cops disciplinary records after 5 years is just a replica of how the Catholic Church has handled its pedophile priests.

(Navigational aid, I didn't know a channel marker buoy can fit in a back pocket....oh a folding cane, well why not just say that to be clearly informative) Someone whose not an asshole but an adult would reply that it's a 'folding cane' and not add major attitude with the "are you a tyrant" question that points the cop and interaction in a direction of ego conflict. Now the man-baby is suing because these cops were provoked and didn't coddle his attitude on the street, but I hope the people in his county won't have to pay any money to him.
      He could have acted and spoken like an adult, other things he could have said to end the encounter differently and maybe even helped her improve as a cop. A person different than him might have interacted and asked "are you an officer who would like to foster better relations with the public?" and she might say "yes, I am" to that as well. I'm not that good, but I know people who are.
      We're living in a world of increasing social conflict. He wasn't just an innocent victim , he co-created what went down, got himself arrested. Those cops should apologize, admit their wrong, be sufficiently punished and be put on probation, fired if they don't immediately improve. Him, I don't support the man-baby, I think doing so is a mistake, not good for society, to support or defend either side in these ego conflicts, we'll just have more of it, rather both sides should be held accountable to behave better. He should not be praised or rewarded.

    I’m so glad our hero officers are safe. It must of been super dangerous confronting that blind man in broad daylight. And he was armed with that Shaolin fighting staff (deadly). I’m so proud!

      I know. I can't imagine the trauma that police officer went through, going toe to toe with a cane wielding maniac. It's a good thing he was blind or else she might have had trouble catching up to him. 3 cheers for our brave police officers ridding the world of blind folks who think they deserve the right to live like normal people.

      @Aluzky well, in North Korea he would probably be sent to a forced labor camp. Now, the real question is, is any of those situations reasonable? Will there always be serfs willing to lick 👮‍♂️🐷 boots (pen...)? 🤔🙄

    • @Carson8277
      @Carson8277 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Aluzky there’s no such thing as a stop and ID state. There are states that have laws required you to show ID if the cop has RAS of a crime. In this case any RAS the officer might have had was dispelled when she could see that it was a cane. No where in the US can an officer ID you just because they want to or because your acting “suspicious”. A crime has to be involved.

      @Aluzky Police still need RAS of a crime to demand ID, even in so-called "Stop and ID' states.
